"The pictures on the website are of their "new" standard rooms. Rooms that were not even available when we booked (per the front desk staff). The room they tried to give us was so tight that you had to climb over the bed to get to the bathroom. When we went to complain about the room size we were hesitantly "upgraded" to a deluxe room. The deluxe room was the room pictured on the website under standard rooms and was still smaller than a standard room in any other hotel I have ever stayed in. The website also says that the hotel is pet friendly, and does not specify that only certain rooms allow pets. The room we were put in was not pet friendly and they forced us to leave our dog in the truck overnight. Overall we had a terrible experience with this hotel, we over paid for the experience we had and we will absolutely not be going back, nor would we recommend this hotel to anyone. "
"It is not fancy and the television wasn't working the first night, the restaurant wasn't open for dinner but the views were stunning. We had a really yummy traditional breakfast for only $10 a plate which was our cheapest meal of the trip. We aren't picky We were just happy to be in Alaska "
Cozy Cabin on the Kenai River with Stunning Mountain Views and Private Deck
6/10 Okay
"Stunning property and condo. Just not what we had requested. A issue came up with the cabin we rented so we were upgraded to a condo. No problem, till it was. The condo shared a joining door with another condo. To say the noise carried is an understatement. Two night stay and it was both nights. Then morning brought more chaos with young, unsupervised kids running and yelling all before 8am. Again the property was amazing,, you can't beat the river views. Just disappointed we missed out on the quiet and private setting we signed up for."
Centrally Located Private Awesome View Custom Chalet. Bonus Hot Tub
10/10 Excellent
"Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The chalet is so cozy and has everything you need. The view is absolutely unbeatable! Plus, the hosts were incredibly thoughtful and communication was seamless. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights during our trip, and watching them from the hot tub is a core memory. "
"Cabin - Extremely small. No wifi, no tv, no dresser or closet. When I closed the door, the door 's window curtain fell because the nail holding one end came out. I do not recommend this accommodation."
