The property is located in the center of old town. It was an absolutely charming historic building. Breakfast was fabulous and everyone that worked there was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a boutique hotel.

Stunning boutique hotel that is the envy of every person walking past. The owner and her son were lovely hosts. Loved our loft style room overlooking the old pedestrian street in old town. Our room was located in the Venetian wooden extended windows above the hotel entrance. Just fantastic. Breakfast is continental but they do make you eggs to order. Loved the location as it is right in old town but not on a laneway with bars. Parking is difficult in Rethymno old town as cars aren't allowed in, so you need to find street or lot parking offsite and wheel your luggage in. No biggie. We parked about a 8 min walk away.

Casa dei Delfini was one of the best hotel experiences that myself and my wife have had in Greece. (We come here twice a year) . The host, Katerina ,warmly welcomed us after a long day and showed up the hotel amenities. The room was compact yet spacious , full of architectural elements that harkened back to its Venetian/ottoman roots. The bed was beautiful with high quality linens and the room was spotless. The breakfast and coffee were fantastic with many Cretan dishes and freshly prepared eggs. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to stay in a well thought out piece of living history .

Wir haben Ende August fünf wundervolle Nächte im Casa dei Delfini verbracht und hatten einen rundum angenehmen und entspannten Aufenthalt. Das liebevoll restaurierte, familiengeführte Boutiquehotel liegt zentral in der malerischen, autofreien Altstadt von Rethymno. Die Lage ist hervorragend: zahlreiche ausgezeichnete Restaurants, gemütliche Cafés, kleine Geschäfte und die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind alle fußläufig erreichbar. Besonders begeistert hat uns die Architektur des Hauses. Die Kombination aus modernen und alten Elementen ist überaus stilvoll umgesetzt, wobei die historischen Akzente wunderschön integriert wurden und dem Hotel viel Atmosphäre verleihen. Ein großes Lob gilt der Gastfreundschaft: Wir haben sehr gute Tipps für die Stadt und Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung bekommen. Sogar unsere eigenen Versuche, ein paar Worte Griechisch zu sprechen, wurden vom Team sehr sympathisch und ermutigend unterstützt. Jeden Morgen wartete ein sehr leckeres, landestypisches Frühstück auf uns, bei dem die Eier auf Wunsch stets frisch zubereitet wurden. Praktischer Hinweis zur Anreise mit dem Mietwagen: Ein kostenpflichtiger Parkplatz befindet sich südlich neben dem Park in direkter Gehdistanz. Man sollte lediglich darauf achten, direkt nach der Auffahrt am Automaten eine Tageskarte zu ziehen. Wir haben die Zeit zu zweit sehr genossen und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

A great choice in old town Rethymno

We loved Casa dei Delfini. It's a lovely reimagining of an historic home. Our room had all the modern conveniences including a small kitchenette, coffee machine, nice bedding and upscale bathroom. We enjoyed the breakfast. It's easy walking distance to all the old town sights.
