Wonderfull villa in Koumi’s village

We spent fabulous holidays in this villa. Everything was perfect : confortable and lovely villa, pool and mountains view, nice neighbours. House was very clean. Inrini has organised our arrival with a delicious welcome basket and typical crete diner made by her nice mother. We strongly recommand this villa! Many thank to Irini and her Family!

Amazing location

We stayed for five nights with two families of four adults and four children aged 10 to 12. The house has a centuries-old history and has been perfectly renovated. Spacious rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, brand new bathrooms, excellent cleanliness and a beautiful exterior with a swimming pool overlooking a valley of olive trees. The house is situated on the heights of the beautiful village of Koumi, where it is pleasant to walk among fig and pomegranate trees. The people of this small village are friendly and welcoming. It is a twenty minute drive from the beaches of Plakias and Preveli and from Rethymno. Special thanks to Miss Irini who welcomed us with extreme kindness and professionalism. This place has remained in our hearts and that is why we recommend it. Vincenzo

Optimal wenn man nicht in einer Touristenhochburg wohnen möchte

Sehr nettes Dorf. Kein touristischer Ort, aber in gut 20 Minuten sowohl in Réthymnon als auch an den schönen Stränden der Südküste. Sehr nette und entspannte Vermieter.

Absolute Empfehlung! Wunderbares Haus und die besten Vermieter

Der Urlaub in diesem Haus und der Umgebung war wunderbar. Die Vermieter (Familie aus dem Dorf) haben uns herzlich empfangen. Nach einer langen Anreise waren wir erfreut, einen Kühlschrank mit Getränken und frischem Obst vorzufinden. Außerdem standen uns köstliche lokale Produkte wie Öl, Rotwein oder Raki zur Verfügung (teils aus eigener Produktion). Darüber hinaus wartete zur Begrüßung ein landestypischer Auflauf auf uns. Die Familie war sehr freundlich und hat uns jederzeit ihre Hilfe in allen Fragen angeboten (z.B. Tipps zu Unternehmungen oder genialen Restaurants). Das Haus ist ein ehemalige "Winzerei", welche nach einem aufwendigen Umbau selbst im Hochsommer im Innenbereich stets angenehm temperiert gewesen ist (zur Not ist jedes Schlafzimmer zudem mit einer Klimaanlage ausgestattet). Fliegengitter inklusive. Die Einrichtung ist sehr hochwertig und stilvoll gewesen. Aufgefallen ist vor allem ein hoher Grad an Reinlichkeit. Zudem wurde das komplette Haus nach einer Woche gründlich (nach Rücksprache) gereinigt und Wäsche ausgetauscht. Highlight ist sicher der große Pool, welcher beinahe täglich gereinigt wurde. Die Umgebung ist typisch für Kreta, wundervolle Strände sind mit dem Auto problemlos über befestigte Straßen innerhalb von 25 Minuten zu erreichen. Zum Einkaufen (Supermarkt, Bäcker) ist das nahegelegene größere Dorf (10 Minuten mit dem Auto) locker ausreichend. Die größere Stadt Rethymno ist 20 min entfernt. Wir bedanken uns für diesen wunderbaren Aufenthalt und die unendlich große/herzliche Gastfreundschaft. Wir würden uns immer wieder für diese Location entscheiden. Vielen Dank!
