From the very first moment we were met by the lovely Yolanda, who was amazing, friendly, and helpful, we were delighted with the beautiful accomodation. It was clean and spacious. It was beyond our expectations. From comfort, style, location and service. Our stay was made so much more pleasant knowing that Verbu go that extra mile. In giving an all round service. There really isnt anyone better. And a huge thank you to yolanda. For giving us a list of amazing places to visit on our visit to Crete.

Nice Villa with plenty of space

The villa is located near shops and restaurants but requires a drive to a pretty beach. We initially had a concern with the pool that unfortunately could not be resolved but the owner arranged a switch to another vacant villa. Property manager very supportive and therefore the initial concern did not cause a big problem.

Gorgeous, spacious, clean villa with amazing pool and gardens

The villa is lovely, cool and spacious with all the amenities - the pool and outside space is beautiful and exactly as lovely as it looks in the pictures. The rooms are spacious and stay cool during the day (there is a/c as well in each room), it was spotlessly clean and well furnished. There are shops and restaurants nearby and the owner was incredibly helpful with suggestions of places to go and things to see. And was able to suggest a driver when we wanted to visit Knossos Palace (and didn't want the expense of hiring a car). It is a short bus ride to Rethymno and we did that a couple of times during our stay, well worth a visit. But locally there are plenty of places within a 2/5 minute walk to eat and drink/shop. The beach is also just over the road. There is a good sized supermarket about a 15min walk away (or short bus ride) but most of the local shops sell the basic food items too. We would absolutely recommend Villa Kali, it was a wonderful place to stay. There were a couple of basic items missing from the kitchen scissors, toaster, shallow baking tray, but these were not a huge problem. We also think it would be helpful to have supplies of the toilet bin bags in the villa as this is not something we would normally expect to go and buy. But these were relatively minor things - it was still a great place to stay.

Yolanda che ci ha accolti appena arrivati, e´ stata superlativa. Ci ha contattati via whatsapp qualche giorno prima dell´arrivo per assicurarci che tutto fosse predisposto ci ha consigliati, aiutati in una difficoltá personale che abbiamo avuto. una persona meravigliosa! la casa e´ come si vede nelle foto ha tutto l´occorrente (lavatrice, ferro da stiro, fon, set asciugamani, set asciugamami per la piscina, caffettiera, forno microonde e mille altre cose come a casa propria). il posto e´ curatissimo e siamo stati davvero bene

Schönes Haus mit Schwächen

+ schönes Haus mit tollen Steinwänden + gute Zimmeraufteilung + gepflegter Garten mit schattiger Terrasse + Pool den ganzen Tag in der Sonne + zwei Stellplätze direkt am Haus + unkomplizierter Check-in und -out + mit Yolanda eine nette und immer um Lösungen bemühte Ansprechpartnerin Die Villa ist also eigentlich ideal, auch für Familien mit Kindern, aber: -- der zu laute Clubbetrieb im Hotel nebenan, oft auch über die zulässige Zeit von 23 Uhr hinaus - für sechs Personen etwas dürftige Küchenausstattung an Geschirr (z. B. nur fünf große Tassen) - fehlende Gegenschließstücke an der Terrassentür im Erdgeschoss-Schlafzimmer (Sicherheitsgefühl fehlt und Schallisolierung schlechter) - in die Jahre gekommene Einrichtung, vor allem der Bäder, dadurch hatten wir das Pech, dass vieles während unseres Aufenthalts kaputt gegangen ist: * defekte Klimaanlage in einem der oberen Schlafräume (keine Reparatur möglich, Ersatz: ein Ventilator) * defekter Kühlschrank (Regler abgebrochen , Dichtungsgummi defekt), lief durchgehend und das Kondenswasser lief unterm Kühlschrank in die Küche, dadurch Wand und Schrank daneben seit längerem nass * defekte Klospülung im oberen Bad, Wasserspülung lief drei Tage durch (nachts sehr laut), dann provisorische Reparatur mit Sekundenkleber * defekte Klobrille im Erdgeschoss (Halterung weggebrochen) Schade, das Haus hätte mehr Potential.
