離機場不是很近

當初選擇這裡的考量因素是離機場近走路就可以到達， 結果他離機場航站大廈還有一段距離需要坐車才能抵達， 因此感覺會不方便。

Group of people from an undisclosed Asian country came in with a large group and “unpacked” for 3 plus hours, leaving all of their doors open so they could more efficiently communicate room to room and sit in the hallway we all shared. The night before wasn’t bad, but that group understood that some folks can’t sleep with loud floor wide conversations going on. I asked front desk to check on it which briefly worked, but your sleep depends on the consideration of who is booked with you…apparently.

Das Gästehaus war klein, aber blitzeblank. Die beiden Toiletten mit Dusche und Waschbecken konnten abgeschlossen werden, so dass man seinen eigenen Bereich hatte. Im sehr kleinen Zimmer hat das Fenster nicht richtig geschlossen, das Bett war bequem. Im TV viele Fernsehprogramme, darunter auch deutsche. WLAN stabil, Frühstück gut ab 5Uhr. Den Flughafen konnte man zu Fuß in etwas mehr als 1h erreichen. Das einzige was störend war, dass wenn jemand mitten in der Nacht abgereist ist, man wirklich alles gehört hat und somit auch auromatisch wach wurde. Insofern war es eine etwas billigere Notvariante.

Room was very nice as was the bathroom. Breakfast was amazing! Only complaint is others in the guesthouse didn’t adhere to quiet hours. I heard slamming doors, loud bangings from the bathroom and common area as early as 6am.

We stayed at the guesthouse but had access to the wonderful breakfast at the Hotel Keflavík across the street. There were many hot and cold options. The guesthouse is small and quiet with a shared bathroom. It was very clean with everything we needed.

Booked the Guesthouse Keflavik and when I arrived there was a note to check in at the hotel across the street. They offered a room instead in the hotel. That was very kind and a nice option. The room was great had a view of the Bay and the rain. It was nice to have places to sit and drink tea within the hotel. In the evening there were more people for dinner but it was pretty quiet. They kindly stored my backpack the next day while I adventured around and had an afternoon flight out. The taxi to the hotel for the 2.7 miles or so was 4909 isk so the most expensive parts of this trip was the transportation and in winter when it raining its helpful, summer I would’ve walked everywhere as there is a great sea side walking path to the Giantess cave and beyond. The hotel and guesthouse are in great location. Thanks to the very friendly Icelandic historian who checked me and out!

Perfect place to stay for two nights

Hotel is very nice and fancy with many fine details in style and decor. We stayed in the annex guesthouse compricing of 6 rooms and 2 bathrooms and a small sitting area in the hallway. Rooms are of decent size and the beds were comfortable. However, be aware of cold leaking in through the window. Hotel is situated only a few minutes away from the airport. We arrived on a flight early in the morning and knew about check in time was in the afternoon. Instead we wanted to ask if it was possible to have breakfast on same day of arrival since we could not make breakfast on departure day due to early flight. That service was however not offered and we had to pay for the extra breakfast. A seemingly small gesture for the hotel with no extra cost, exept for the last star in this review. But a part from that we valued our stay very much.
