La struttura è in una bella posizione, lontana dalla strada e vicino a una cascata. La sala comune è ampia e accogliente, la cucina e i bagni potrebbero beneficiare di una risistemata. Ad ogni modo, non mancava nulla ed è stata un'esperienza gradevole.

Clean and no frills hotel used during our road-trip through Iceland. Received instructions on how to pick up keys at a different location. We didn't realize that the bathroom was to be shared (knew about the kitchen). Water temperature was confusing as it immediately became extremely hot and then cold if you are not careful.

Super clean and very comfy. The kitchen was very nice with everything you need for cooking. The only thing that was a bit confusing was the check in process, because the reception was in another location. It would be helpful if there were signs and they just emailed you the code to the key box with your key, and room number, rather than going offsite. Other than that, very much loved the cute cottage.

Mooie liggen met een waterval achter het verblijf. Keuken was klein maar voldoende. De deurklinken en sloten zijn verschrikkelijk luid, dus het maakte heel veel lawaai wanneer iemand in de nacht naar het toilet ging etc. Niet goed geslapen omwille van het lawaai.

We stayed in the farmhouse and found it clean and comfortable. The instructions to check in are a little confusing- you have to check in at a hotel up the road (that also isn’t well marked) that give you a code and map for this place. The shared kitchen and living room is comfortable but not big if the guesthouse is full. We also couldn’t open the windows for air due to bugs - something we didn’t experience anywhere else. All self service for cooking or eating your own meals as no staff around.

The property is a little run down but it has everything you need. We stayed on the first floor, the bathroom and the shower worked fine. Some of the old reviews we looked at talked about issues that it looks like have been fixed. We had multiple power outlets in our room. You could hear folks on the second floor above but they quieted down before long. The kitchen area and common area is nice and they provided coffee to make which was great for the morning. It is about an hour from Skaftafell Park which is mostly convenient. I saw to check in at the hotel so that was not an issue. I think the price could be a bit less for what you get. Below $200/night and this would be a 5/5 review.

Room and kitchen were clean, but the property ran out of hot water by the time we want to take shower. The staff could have been more responsive on this. If you need to take showers, do it right when you arrive.

We had a family room and there was enough space for the 4 of us. There were 2 bathrooms on our floor which were clean and remodeled. Kitchen area was spacious and well equipped. Could do with some new pots and pans though. All in all a good budget stay with basic kitchen facilities if you want to stay close to the glacier lake.
