「It is a beauty but still under development which I'm sure will soon have the Grandure it strives for. The restauration and annex buildings are being completed with a good eye for quality and detail. We really enjoyed our stay, the outdoor pool area and the terras restaurant. Obviously there were computers hick-ups and small mistakes with only being partially open since a few weeks but we look forward to return towards the winter whe all should be ready and the staff complete and trained.」

The church bell could be a problem, if you are a light sleeper, because they would ring out quite often, (although I had no problem, some of my friends had some problems). Overall, I really enjoyed our stay.」

「Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und der Service war ausgezeichnet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer befand sich direkt unter dem Dach und hatte nur ein Fenster. Dadurch wurde es besonders nachts unerträglich heiß. Leider gab es weder einen Ventilator noch eine Klimaanlage. Außerdem ließ sich das Rollo am Fenster nicht vollständig herunterziehen, sodass das Licht von der Straße die ganze Nacht ins Zimmer schien. Das war der einzige Kritikpunkt. 「This hotel was further from Cochem than we hoped for. I booked two rooms for one night at least four months in advance requesting large windows that open. We got one room with a very tiny window only, and one room with a medium size window. The staff was very nice and apologized for not meeting my request saying "they didn't know how this happened".
