WI River-Boom Lake cottage on spacious lot, water on 3 sides, kayaks, fire pit
Located on the Wisconsin River chain around the corner from Boom Lake and Hodag Park. Easy access from Hwy 47. Boat or snowmobile for miles in either direction. Our four season cottage is ten steps from the water with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, full kitchen, dining table for 6, Wifi and gas fireplace. The property is a little over an acre with water on 3 sides. No steps to the water!
In summer months, there are 4 docks overlooking the chain and a quiet bay, swimming area with nice sandy bottom, 2 kayaks available, paddle boat, yard games, hammocks, three person swing to enjoy your coffee or book by the water, a gas grill or jump on your boat and visit 4 bar/restaurants on the river. Firewood is provided.
New for June 2022: we have the option for you to rent a pontoon boat for an extra charge. Please message me if you are interested. Once you see all the boats going by, you’re going to want to join in on the fun!
In the winter, ice fish and watch your tip ups from the comfort of the cottage. Bring your snowmobiles and have immediate access to the trails that run right by.
Please note: like most cottages close to the water, there is a high iron concentration in our water. We recommend bringing your own drinking water and bagged ice to consume.
We have ceiling fans in each bedroom, the living room and kitchen. There is no AC.
This is our family cottage that we rent occasionally and is pet friendly - message if you are interested.

Great little place on the lake. Ideal for snowmobiling with the trail right out front. Accommodating for pets, kennel, pet dish. Didn't get to enjoy the rest being it's winter but I'm sure it's a blast relaxing by the fire, and swimming, boating and kayaking etc. Hosts communication was awesome. We didn't have any problems here. Do bring some bottled water though for drinking and coffee etc. Area deals with rusty water but didnt hinder our stay.

10 out of 10 trip. The cabin is in a great location. Very Clean. Well equipped. Plenty of fans if warm. Krissy was excellent in communication and gave great recommendations about the area. We loved our first visit to Rhinelander and will return again.

Very clean and comfortable cottage. I have already booked my stay for 2026 and the host is great at communicating. We brought more that we needed as most of everything is provided except your food. It feels like home. It is a wonderful place, our little piece of heaven.

It was very nice! The kitchen was stocked with all you needed. There were even extra blankets and paper products. There was just a couple of things that maybe could be done. Typically people would'nt use the oven in summer. But in the fall maybe. It was really needed cleaning and one of the bathroom drawers was full of personal things(old things). I don't recall it being mentioned that there was iron in the water at booking. Was stated in the list of things about a week or two before arriving. But I could have missed it. The Host was great and very patient with us being it was our first experience. The check in was easy. That was wonderful!! All in all, thank you for a wonderful stay!!! The Fiedlers

Perfect Lake/River Getaway
Our family thoroughly enjoyed this cabin. Kitchen was stocked well. The pontoon and kayaks were great. The spacious property was great for yard games. Our favorite part was the Live Music at Blind Pig on Friday & Saturday night, that we could hear from the cabin! It was great to enjoy around our private campfire. We would definitely stay here again!

Charming and Well-Maintained
Beautiful cottage and the host is so communicative. She let me know the day prior that an early check in was available for our stay which helped tremendously. Our group cooked a few nights and the kitchen had all supplies we needed. The pontoon boat was absolutely a highlight as well.

Was exactually like pics shown. Property was nice and clean. Couldn't be any closer to water. Lots of water traffic on the weekend. Pontoon gas gage not working, so it was always a guessing game. Fishing was decent. Was close to highway so could hear lots of traffic noise.

Had a blast ice fishing!
We stayed here once in the summer and knew we had to come back in the winter and try our luck at ice fishing. You are basically surrounded by water just a few feet from the cabin. We setup our tip-ups and could watch them from inside. Couple bars you can walk to across the ice too. Lots of fun was had. Fun unique property!

Relaxing Cottage
We stayed at this beautiful cottage for our wedding weekend, and it was the perfect place to unwind. The views were absolutely stunning, and it was very peaceful. We didnt have time for any water activities but this is a great spot if thats what your looking for!
