Just what i needed for a short stay, staff were super helpful and friendly, short distance to old town and the beach and loads of restaurants and bits nearby. Breakfast was super basic, but i already knew it would be, and it tasted good

Definitely worth a visit if in Rhodes Town

This was one of the nicest rooms we have ever had in Greece. Very clean and comfortable. The guy at reception was so friendly and helpful, and the "basic" breakfast was more than basic, it was lovely. Highly recommended.

It was good overall, good and friendly service. bed was a bit uncomfortable also there was no plugs near the bed to charge the phone, and the wifi on the tv wouldn’t work.

I stayed at this hotel for 13 nights in June and, unfortunately, I wouldn’t choose to come back. I was given a room without a terrace, which turned out to be very noisy due to a café directly below. Most nights, loud and intoxicated guests were outside until 3 or 4 in the morning, making it difficult to sleep. Upon arrival, I was surprised to find that many basic amenities came at an extra cost: eggs and fruit for breakfast (€4/day), air conditioning (€6/day), a safe (€3/day), and additional room cleaning (€8/day). This gave the impression that the hotel is more focused on charging for every little thing than making guests feel welcome. The breakfast was extremely basic—slices of ham and cheese, butter, and jam or honey—served the same way every single day. No variety at all, which became quite monotonous over a nearly two-week stay. Although they promise room cleaning and towel/sheet changes 3–4 times per week, during my entire stay they only changed towels and sheets twice. Thankfully, I had booked the room for two people but stayed alone, so I was able to manage somehow. The staff were generally polite and the location is quite good, but overall the hotel doesn’t feel like a relaxing holiday destination. The atmosphere was rather depressing, possibly due to minimal staffing and an overall sense of cost-cutting. This place might be okay for a weekend stay if you're not too particular, but for a longer holiday, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Our booking was confirmed and paid for, when we arrived the manager said we could not leave our bags and if we did he would not be responsible although it clearly states baggage storage available. On returning at 3pm to book in we were asked how long we were staying for and said we had booked for one night. The manager then told us our booking had been changed to another hotel by Expedia which was untrue as we checked with Expedia. He told us we were booking into another hotel '5 minutes away' no apology or explanation. When we arrived at the Africa Hotel the manager said our booking had been made the previous night. Why were we not informed, why didn't the manager notify us on the morning we arrived and why not give a truthful reason for our move? The staff at the Africa Hotel were very welcoming and apologetic although it was not their fault, however the room was very small and basic and not one we would have chosen. Previous reviews has stated that the staff at the New York were friendly and helpful and this was far from the truth in our case

Der Herr am Empfang war wirklich äußerst freundlich. Die Lage der Unterkunft hätte nicht besser sein können, 5 min zum Strand, 10-15 min zur Altstadt und sehr viele Restaurants/Bars/Cafés dazwischen. Es ist kein Luxus-Hotel und auch recht günstig und das muss beachtet werden, hier kann man kein vielfältiges Frühstück oder Luxusausstattung im Zimmer erwarten. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis wirklich gut.

Får vid incheckning ett hot- blad som upplyser vad det kostar om nått går sönder. Blir sen tvingad att betala 8 euro per dygn för air-condition, vare sig man vill eller inte. Mitt rum var dessutom svinkallt! Frukost under all kritik, mest socker och fett. Inga ägg, juicen var saft. Hårda obekväma sängar. Städning utmärkt. Kan inte rekommendera detta hotell. Bo inte där, finns bättre ställen för samma peng....

Ottima posizione. Pulizia della camera scarsa, il ricambio lenzuola e asciugamani ogni tre giorni. Non è stato il mio caso, ma controllare bene in fase di prenotazione online se l'aria condizionata è inclusa nel prezzo oppure è a pagamento. Se così fosse vi sono altre sistemazioni nei dintorni a prezzi simili.

Hyvä sijainti. Siisti **hotelli. Aamupala todella pelkistetty, ei sisältänyt vihanneksia /hedelmiä, kananmunia missään muodossa, jogurttia tms. Ainostaan sämpylää ja croissantteja, samaa juustoa ja leikkelettä koko viikko sekä kahviautomaatti, josta sai rusehtavaa teevettä. Jos kaipaat runsasta aamiaista, en suosittelisi tätä hotellia, muutoin kyllä.

Siisti hotelli budjettimatkalle

Ihan siisti, viime vuosina remontoitu 2* hotelli. Omassa huoneessani ei ollut parveketta ja se oli ainoa mitä kaipasin. Huone oli yksinkertaisesti sisustettu, sänky oli erinomainen nukkua ja ilmastointi pelasi niinkuin kuuluu. Wc/suihku oli tämänluokituksen hotelliin siisti. Aamupala oli yksinkertainen mutta toimiva. Koko henkilökunta oli ystävällisiä ja avuliaita. Hotellin sijainti oli hyvä ja ulkoa kuului öisin vain vähän ääniä. Tätä hotellia voin suositella budjettimatkalle.

L'hotel parfait, l'accueil adorable !

Très agréablement surpris par l'hotel , très propre, extrêmement bien placé pour visiter la ville, et meme les iles. L'accueil de jour comme de nuit est très sympathique, le monsieur parle un français parfait et est vraiment de très bon conseil. La rapport qualité/prix est imbattable, les matelas sont neufs, comme la salle de bain. Il y a une petite terrasse sur la rue pour boire un verre ou petit-déjeuner. On peux laisser ses valises le jour du départ pour profiter de la ville avant son vol, On vous appelle un taxi sans problème . Vraiment une experience parfaite, je reviendrais certainement, merci encore !
