Comfortable accommodation though the bed was a little hard. Pet friendly but surprised the area surrounding the cottage was not fenced so the dog had to be tied up. We read the reviews and were intrigued. We stayed in winter, and it is cold in Bothwell. It would have been much more inviting if the hosts had the heater running prior to our arrival, but once the property warmed up after a few minutes the shock of how cold it was faded away.
