Such a wonderful and peaceful stay at Santa Barbara. The location and amenities are great, but what stands out even more is the level of care from the staff. I cannot wait to return and have recommended to all my family and friends.

You can spend time studying the exhibits at Museu Casa do Arcano during your trip to Matriz. Wander the area's picturesque gardens or simply enjoy one of its top-notch restaurants.
The hotel is not complete,spa facilities were not available. Websites mention hotel is new, not unfinished. Reception staff & concierge were great. San Miguel is beautiful,ribiera grande not that attractive. SATA connections via Lisbon v. poor.
