「This is my favorite place to stay in the Rice Lake area. It is a charming lodge tucked away in a quiet spot right on the lake. Expect beautiful vistas year round. Each room is designed uniquely, several are pet friendly. Each has a view of and access to the lake. The staff/owners are friendly and accommodating. There are complementary non-motorized water activities in the summer and nightly campfires. Breakfast is fruit and a locally baked scone. There is nothing hotel-chain about this place. 」

「My wife and I had a great stay in this really cozy cabin. It was such a relaxing, lazy weekend and a great place to spend it. The host was very responsive and the place was well-kept. The only thing that would have made it better would have been one of those rollout kitchen cabinets or iron cabinets with kitchenette stuff like silverware, plates, knives for cutting food, etc. We had to bring our own silverware and plates. There is only an oven air fryer for cooking, so planning ahead for food is...

「Every September, my husband and I—along with our two dogs—head up North for our annual getaway. This year, we ventured to a new area, and we’re so glad we did. Pine Cone Cottage turned out to be the perfect retreat. The cabin was spotless and cozy, ideally located near great spots for hiking and shopping. The hosts were incredibly responsive and checked in to ensure we were enjoying our stay. We wholeheartedly recommend it!」
