"Book this cabin if you are looking for quiet, serenity, and seclusion. It is WAY off the beatin path so expect a 20 minute drive to get to amenities or stores. When you arrive all you hear is a babbling creek and breeze through the trees. The cabin itself was very well stocked with everything you’d need. The furnishings were sufficient and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept on in a VRBO. I was surprised to find that the bedroom and bathroom are downstairs. Upstairs is a reading book and a locked door which I assume were the owner’s personal belongings. The downstairs was plenty large enough for my wife and I to relax. The fireplace is wood burning not gas, so be prepared for a slight fireplace smell in the cabin. It’s not off putting, but just present. Overall it was a fantastic relaxing weekend miles from anywhere. "

"I can't comment on the cabin itself but the owner was very responsive. A few days before the visit the heat broke. Fortunate for us he was able to move us next door. He was very communicative multiple times throughout the few days. I would select this property again."

She even compromised her safety traveling in the snow to bring us supplies to make sure we had what we needed . The cabin was decorated so warm and inviting. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. We haven't stopped talking about how much we enjoyed ourselves. It was so cozy. It felt like home away from home. "This was an attractive, clean cabin. We were celebrating our 55th anniversary and wanted somewhere to relax for a few days. It could not have been any better. This was one of our favorite cabins we’ve stayed in through the years. It was a steep and curvy drive with narrow road going to cabin. Adventurous, but a little scary for 2 old people! LOL! A word to the wise…good idea to get there bf dark! It was dark by the time we got back from dinner one night, and we got lost! A 4-wheel drive would be a plus, but not necessary. Just have a good GPS! You’ll enjoy this lovely, secluded and cozy cabin."
