An excellent choice if you’re looking for a charming, low key motel with a lot of character. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice common room and a lovely porch to sit on to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. Walking distance to the main strip where you’ll find a nice friendly, local bar.

If you're looking for a hotel chain- keep looking. This is not a new hotel and it shows. But if you want something with some rustic charm and don't mind some soft floorboards as you're walking in and having to figure out how to get the temperature you like with a combination of windows and AC- well, this place may suit. The common spaces are quite pleasant- the rooms are small and are really only suitable for sleeping.

Cozy rooms. Available cooking utensils, microwave, toaster and refrigerator. Staff provided clean towels and were very friendly. Good shops nearby and prices are very reasonable compared to Cooperstown.

We had a room right off the restaurant area. At around 10:30pm a family arrived and had an upstairs room. For hours they made noise, talking and moving furniture around. And a small child running around and screaming. We could hear everything. We heard water running thru the pipes in our ceiling every time they ran water. There is no noise filter between floors. We had multiple cob webs in our room as well.

Very nice comfortable room and very reasonable price, we booked twin beds and were pleasantly surprised to find out that each bed was in a different room so we had lots of space! The motel is old-fashioned with a large breakfast room, 3 cozy living rooms and chairs outdoors . They don't serve breakfast but tea, coffee and water are available 24/7 and there are 2 nearby diners , both are good plus a really nice pizza restaurant , all within walking distance. The owner, Sabina, is so very nice and helpful , we didn't see her this time because she was at their other hotel , The Lake House,but we talked with her and we saw her when we stayed at Lake House in 2024. The only issue we had was that there wasn't much security, the front door is unlocked, luckily the rooms can be locked , and although Richfield Springs is probably safe, it was unsettling .

This place is very run down, or perhaps was never in good shape in the first place. The pictures on the website are not accurate. It presents itself as homey, maybe a bit quirky. But it just looks like someone hit up a bunch or garage sales and decorated it with random stuff no one wanted. The staff person who was there when we arrived was friendly and helpful. That was the last staff person we saw. When we left, no one was around. I will say that it was clean and the beds were comfortable. It's fine if you are desperate and have no other options. If you have options, take them. Also, this place has nothing to do with baseball.

There were no amenities . I didn't bring my hair dryer or iron my clothes. Because most places have these. No microwaves or mini fridge . Coffee maker in lounge area . Tiny bottle of shampoo and bar of soap . Place is very dated not very clean and overpriced for what you get . But the lady at front desk was very friendly and took us right to our room . This place could be a beautiful hotel if the right people up kept it . It's resting on its laurels . I wouldn't return .

Property is run down. There is no staff on the property. There is a paper list with your room assignment taped to the front desk. I did not feel comfortable with my full name on a random piece of paper for everyone to read to see my room assignment. The key to the room was hung on a hook outside the room door. The one pillow on the bed was flat and pillow case was heavily pilled so very uncomfortable. There was a phone # to call with issues, but no one answered when called, later another piece of paper with a different # to call was left. And the air conditioner unit worked very poorly so the room was hot and stuffy. While only a one night stay, I never saw one person who worked there. Other guests I met there had the same comments of not ever seeing any staff.
