Great Getaway Place!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Big Trout Lodge! If you like a rustic, lodge-style place, you will love it. It was perfect for our group - three couples - because we each had a King bedroom with our own bathroom. It also had a bunk room that we didn't use and a 4th bathroom. We would definitely stay again if we go back.

Great Spring Break Getaway

Wonderful family weekend getaway!

We had the best time staying at this cabin! The location is great and close to lots of attractions. The property manager was incredibly responsive and helped us with any questions we had upon arrival and throughout our stay. Thanks to Rebecca and Rick for getting us extra firewood so our kids could have s’mores! We would definitely stay here again!

A wonderful holiday get-away!

My husband, father-in-law, sister-in-law, and I just spent three lovely nights in this cabin that had all the comforts of home. We loved having three ensuite king bedrooms as well as the well-stocked kitchen. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly!

Perfect for a family getaway. Quite cozy cabin neighborhood. We loved our cozy Christmas cabin. It was just what we needed and wanted. Not to far from anything.

Quiet and not far from all the main attractions in Branson.

Our stay was wonderful with plenty of space for our family of 12 to spread out and eat meals, play games, and sleep comfortably.

Nice Girls Trip…So Comfy!

It was a short stay of only two nights but we loved the comfy and warm accommodations. Loved the decor and took advantage of the awesome “ready-to-go” hot tub. We also enjoyed relaxing on the back patio in the mornings. Highly recommend!

Perfect Holiday Location

I thought Big Trout Lodge was better than the photos. We had a lot of different needs in our group - adults and an adult with autism, children, and a toddler. The cabin gave us all our own space and it was nice to be just a short drive away from 76 country blvd. The hot tub was a huge hit. We will be back next year!

Absolutely adored this place. Within a few days we got so attachéd to this Cabin we cant wait to come back. We are making plans to come back. Such a cozy yet spacious and perfect for little ones home. Clean, accommodated and comfortable. Best Cabin we have stayed in so far. Highly recommend.

Birthday vacation

Great way for all the women to celebrate our birthday! We go to Branson every year to celebrate. Christmas was already set up and the teens loved the jacuzzi.

Solid cabin, plenty of room for our crew

Solid cabin for our 5 adults. Definitely room for more as the one room has 4 bunk beds. 3 rooms with king beds if I'm not mistaken. Close to Big Cedar, Table Rock lake, 12-15 minutes from the strip. We come to Branson each year and always look forward to the experience. This is a wonderful location for a family, clean, safe, and close to everything.

Great Cabin

Cabin was clean and had all the amenities listed. The location was great location to the restaurants at Top of the Rock. The only thing needed is to replace the ping pong balls and foosball ball—kids were unable to play due to them missing (and Dollar General was out)

Home away from home!

This property was charming and felt like a home away from home for us! We loved the cabin decor and the large stuffed bears. We all had our own space, but were also able to hang out together in the shared spaces. The private hot tub is great and the back patio is perfect for a morning cup of coffee! There was some mold/mildew on the shower curtains and tubs, but overall this was a great place to stay and the communication was awesome!

Fantastic Cabin in the Ozark Mountains

Big Trout Lodge was a delight to stay at. The cabin was clean and the four bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and accommodating. We enjoyed pleasant evening in the hot tub on the rear porch after a long day in Branson which was just a short car ride away. The kids loved the game loft, even though we couldn’t find the balls upon arrival rent Branson rushed some over that very night. The property management was attentive and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this cabin to anyone.

We had a wonderful experience

The cabin was perfect for our Easter weekend getaway. We had so much room to lounge. I loved that every rom had its own bathroom which meant made our mornings getting ready to go exploring so much easier. The cabin came well stocked with dishes, utensils and cookware. The hot tub was a perfect size and stayed the perfect warm temperature. There is more than enough beds and space to fit a much larger family if necessary. I will be back to book the same cabin hopefully very soon.

Weekend getaway

The property was nice and had all the great amenities you could want and more for a trip away from home. Overall we were very pleased. We only had one issue, which was the house did not easily accommodate a person with a walker as there wasn’t a lot of room to maneuver around and the doorways didn’t allow the walker through. But the Walgreens close by had a smaller walker that allowed us to bypass that issue. All in all a great trip and would definitely stay here again!

Great location. Everything we needed. One exception was TV requiring password to continue viewing. Happened during World Series-unhappy viewers. Guessed on password and finally figured out how to turn the control off.

BIG CEDAR 2024 FAM TRIP

Excellent house - PROs: Big-roomy-comfortable BEDS & Furniture, & close to everything. CONs: HOT TUB not acceptable & not clean. GAME ROOM LOFT poor condition of both Tables. Bathrooms need SAFETY BARS, molding in Bathrooms need cleaning along with MAIN FRIDGE. Room Darkening Curtains in MAIN BEDROOM would be helpful. Please put CUSHION on bottom of STAIRS that hang low for everyone to smack their head on…. A CUSHION will save you from a big lawsuit. A great place to stay & look forward to next visit.
