"Amazing Stay – Still the place I'll choose. A True Hidden Gem Another last-minute reservation at The Wild Rose, and once again, it did not disappoint. Even on short notice, Checkin is simple and the staff welcoming and caring. There to help at any moment. I walked into a beautifully arranged room that immediately gave off that expensive, boutique-hotel feel, without the expensive price tag. The room was spotless, thoughtfully styled, and smelled fresh and clean the moment I opened the door. Everything felt intentional and welcoming. The bed deserves a special mention, super comfortable, perfect for sinking into after a long day of travel. Willits days, so near to the coast, can be nice and mild, but the nights get cold. No worries here the heater was already to create a warm, cozy atmosphere! There’s nothing better than relaxing in bed, comfortably warm, controlling everything with the remote and fully unwinding. This place continues to be my go-to hidden gem anytime I’m traveling to Mendocino. Fort Bragg, or Ukiah. Consistently clean, comfortable, stylish, and reasonably priced. If you’re looking for a stay that feels upscale but still cozy and affordable, this is it. I’ll absolutely keep coming back. Highly recommend!"

"Whoa! Just needed a room for the night in a convenient location. The room was clean, new spotless bathroom, even a fridge and microwave. Friendly staff. Definitely would stay there again!"

"I love that the resort is a mixture of different cottages/buildings. I was assigned to a duplex with a partial ocean-view. The room was clean and tidy, inviting, and offered all the amenities one would expect from a hotel resort. The shampoo, conditioner, and lotion smelled wonderful! And the rain shower head was an experience in itself. I was pleased that the pillows actually supported my head and neck. Along with the comfortable bed and winter temperature, I could have easily slept all morning. This resort is a nature reserve on its own with a private beach access. The grounds are well-maintained and I thoroughly enjoyed walking all around the resort. The warm cookies upon check-in is a nice touch as well! Overall an excellent stay! Highly recommended and worth going back to again someday."
