Room was decent although not modern only maybe we just came off from a luxury cruise and not actually comparable. We got the right location for a hotel walkable to the main downtown for shopping and restaurants!!!!"

The breakfast is outstanding, the rooms are clean, bright, and spacious, and the staff is exceedingly friendly and helpful. They even loaned us a waterproof bag for our swim in the Rhine river -- a must-do for any visit to Basel in the summer!!"
