“My son and I wanted a hot shower and a comfortable bed for a weekend elk hunt and this place was perfect. We enjoyed watching the deer come across the field and feed and rut. Very nice and quiet location for a small group.”

“Very nice cabin. Was set up for snowmobileing with hooks and things down stairs. The view was great. The owner was very friendly also. Would stay there again”

“Communication from the time we made the reservation and throughout our stay was amazing. Corri and John were amazing at making sure we were happy with our stay. The check in process was easy and the property was always clean. The housekeepers were so friendly and did a great job day to day. Merlins Bunkhouse is small as they have listed BUT it was perfect for 2 best friends just getting away. The bathroom is right next to the room but you have a key. It really is easy peasy. The room did get hot……

“We loved our stay at the little house in Newcastle! What a cool town! We came in for a wedding and after working hard for our friends to get the wedding off the ground to come to the house in Newcastle and the clean, quiet, restful space it was... exactly what we needed! We loved the ability to chill around the kitchen island at night and get restful sleep at night! Even with the train! I so want to come back and stay here again! So glad we found this place, thank you!”

“Stayed at the Alpaca farm for two night with my girlfriend, just wanted a little trip to get away. Place was very clean, had everything you would want and need. Short drive into Glenwood to visit the springs if that’s on your list. Alpacas were great to hang out with and feed, while drinking some coffee. Beautiful mountain range in the distance. Definitely would recommend this place!”

“Our alpaca getaway was perfect for a quiet relaxing weekend. Our vrbo was clean and comfortable. Even the beds were quality. And the views were our favorite. We didn’t bring our kids but they would love this place as well. We stayed here while exploring Glenwood springs. Kim was very friendly and accessible.”

Im a Colorado native and i was desperate to show my online friends the beauty of Colorado and this place was the perfect get away for The 7 of us. When we needed propane for grilling the property manager immediately provided us with what we needed and was very polite. Overall very friendly owner, amazing sight, and the perfect cozy getaway. 10/10 ⭐”
