Best Hostel in Rio!

I stayed at Ipanema Beach Hostel at first 6 days and it was the best place I’ve stayed so far!! I decided to come back earlier at the end of my trip because it was a nice place to meet people and do party! The staff is friendly and always present to help in case of any concerns. It’s a great location in Rio and it’s really easy to meet others solo travelers. There is also a lot of activities organized by the hotel.

Staff and service were very good and helpful! Free Caipi is available from 20.00-20.30, either in the Ipanema Beach Hostel or in the partner hotel directly opposite. Room condition and cleanliness in the rooms was ok but could be improved, but this certainly depends on the number of people in the 8-bed room. The shower/toilet situation is a pity as it is located directly in the room and is very small. The toilet in the lobby is also very small and mostly dirty. The beach location is amazing. With the Uber you are in 5-10 minutes at the bars / restaurant and on foot you are in 5 minutes at the supermarket.

O quarto era bom e era limpo todos os dias. A localização é ótima, tendo a praia perto, mercado, famarcias, restaurants, etc. o staff é ok, não costumam falar muito os hóspedes e não promovem muita interação. O Thiago da Recepção foi super atensioso. Não tive muito contato com os demais mas foram educados quando procurando.

O quarto estava bem sujo quando eu cheguei, só tinha mais uma hóspede além de mim no quarto. O banheiro ser separado da parte do box acho que foi a pior parte, nunca vi isso em nenhum outro lugar que me hospedei, a cama era confortável e tinha cortina e iluminação o que é um ponto positivo, mas o hostel não oferece coberta grátis, somente um lençol. O lugar em si parece que está em reforma pois tem muitas coisas fora do lugar na recepção, e o locker é dentro do sofá na recepção onde todos tem acesso, o que não achei muito seguro. Em relação as atividades que o hostel disponibiliza, não achei que gere grande interação entre os hóspedes, e os vídeos que eles colocam nas redes sociais não é do dia, o que passa uma impressão errada sobre a socialização que eles vendem no Instagram.

Localização com com certeza é um dos pontos mais favoráveis. Equipe educada e prestativa. Hostel bem animado com atividades todos os dias para interagir o pessoal. Único ponto a melhorar seria o banheiro no quarto, que era muito pequeno para banho.

Hostel incrivelmente pequeno e apertado, quartos apertados, vaso sanitário e chuveiro separados, limpeza simples, pouca possibilidade de interação... Quem vai querer ficar num lugar apertado?! Bom quem vai em grupo, pois quem vai sozinho não indico. Café da manhã por 30 reais... Não quis pagar... Achei simples, mas por aquela região ser Leblon / Ipanema pode acabar compensando por ter frutas. Muito bom o negócio de caipirinha gratis. No geral, jamais voltaria.

Sem dúvida, o pior Hostel que já fiquei e com preço altíssimo. Não me deram roupa de banho, banheiro sujo e sem manutenção. Rola uma balada com gente que não cabe e os quartos nao tem isolamento ao barulho. Não pretendo ficar de novo, péssima experiência.

Ficar em Hostel é uma experiencia unica!

A Experiencia de hostel pra mim em geral é incrivel, ainda mais do ponto de vista de interação. Com relação a manutenção da estrutura fisica do local, ela certamente deve ser melhorada, tamanho de banheiro, mofos em alguns ambientes de uso compartilhado e limoeza em geral deve ficar a altura dos seus concorrentes e local onde esta instalado o hostel. Com relação a pessoas que compõem a equipe do Ipanema Beach Hostel, sao todos incriveis. Em especial o Sr. Israel Albuquerque, sempre muito, disponível, prestativo, simpatico dentre varias outras enumeras qualidades. O ótimo tratamento que recebi ofuscou os detalhes que citei acima, tive uma excelente estadia nesse final de semana que lá estive.
