This hotel is excellently located. The rooms may appear slightly dated, but everything is clean and well functioning. There are many families staying with infants and toddlers, like us. It is quite comfortable.

Property was great for the price, the staff at night shift in the front desk was super nice, also the maintenance staff helping to fix our door lock quickly. Housekeeping Clara was extremely nice and helpful. The only downside was the staff in the front desk during the day, Diego, very rude and not a very professional demeanor.

Our 45th anniversary

I was very surprised to receive a WhatsApp welcoming us to the hotel. Natalia helped us to organize our trip even though we were at our home. The hotel is small and comfortable. The towels were bit old and the room dark. Breakfast was well attended and good.

Loved the Location and so close to the beach. Rooms are clean and staff are very accommodating. Only one thing that could improve the stay is eliminating the noise of the facilities next door when someone uses hot water. The noise is pretty loud and might wake you up if someone next door is taking a shower. Everything else was excellent.

Staff was extremely helpful and professional. There was always a person fluent in English on staff. Coming from the U.S. that was a tremendous help! Staff was always willing to assist in every way possible. Room was clean and functional. Partial ocean view was good. I recommend the top two floors for a better ocean view, if a view is what you are looking for. Would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Internet went off more times than I can remember. One if two elevators was out 2 days and remaining one was slow. Staff was very good. Could hear neighbors thru the wall. Typical noisy trash collection but that's anywhere in Copacabana. Oddly they made me pay for 2 beers from mini frig when I replaced them with same brand only bigger cans apparently so they called me out and I had to pay. I understand a policy, but sometimes you need to think about is it worth it.

It compensates in things that it lacks. Worth it

Great location. It felt secure, safe. If you are looking for a place to sleep with peace and quiet, forget it. It is super noisy. Very otdated old building. Small rooms, small hallways, you hear everything from every angle. The elevator ringing, banging everywhere, tourist luggage sounds at any hour. On the bright side everyone was very helpful in everyway. If you are going to carnival DON'T GET BOOKERS TRANSPORTATION they are a mess!!!!. The front desk offered a better option. Cheaper, super organized and reliable. Although it was noisy as hell and the cleaning wasn't that impressive, it was worth it for the price, the awesome service and the location made it worthwhile. I would return if I ever comeback to Rio.

We need a late check out and they said they had no room to do so. Said the only room available was a business class made us to pay a lot just to stay couple hours more and after I paid they said I could stay in the same room. No offense but I thought they were thinking just about getting more and more money. Next time I will book an overnight even though I won stay because that ended up so expensive for us. Plus we won’t stay at that hotel next time.

Do not stay in Windsor palace it’s dirty

First they didn’t let me check in immediately I had to wait for the front desk to finish their conversation with each other. Then they arbitrarily told me I can’t have guest in my room. They assigned me to a room that I’m sure they know was subpar. When I checked in there were roaches crawling out of the air conditioner vent. When I went to the front desk to ask for a room change they told me that all the other rooms were waiting for a new check I͏n͏s͏. I asked why I can’t have one of the new checking rooms since I was a new check in and they had no answer for me. Not sure if I was racially profiled, but I did not see The same thing happening to other guests.

Stayed a week for birthday. Every day at 9 pm, we received a call from the front desk saying to quiet down but we were not even being loud. Breakfast was the same every day, elevators are very old, beds are hard but the pillows are soft. The TV was only dubbed in Portuguese with no options to change it. No ice machine or microwave for guest use. The area around the hotel is not the best, especially at night because they follow you and keep asking for money. The beach is very close, but there is not much nightlife. We walked about 15 mins to get to the club. Attractions are more within driving distance, but at least the subway is a 7 min walk. The good parts were the staff, cleanliness and the balcony. You can see Cristo Redentor from the pool deck and there is great room service. For the price and the 4 star rating, I thought it was going to be more elite. There are several more hotels I would consider when returning to Rio.
