The hotel is located in a perfect spot, central to everything in Botafogo. The room was nice, but the toilet was wedged in a tight space. And beware when showering the fluctuation between hot and cold when other rooms are showering at the same time. The staff seem to always be there when you wanted to ask a question or ask directions. Gabriel at the front desk was always willing to go out of his way to help me or any other guest that was in the lobby. The rooftop bar and Resteraunt was a great place to grab a bite, have a drink and enjoy the view. The breakfast was very nice, it had everything you could want for breakfast.. Overall a great little place as long as you watch out for the temperature of the water in the shower.

I traveled to Brazil for my bday. The staff at Yoo2 were amazing. Very warming upon arrival with a smile and greeting. The staff answered all questions that I needed. The rooms were smaller than expected but overall I enjoyed my experience. The day of my bday, they gave me a chocolate surprise which was a highlight of my day. That action alone will always grab my attention and make an impression. Hilton always gives great service. Thank you for making my trip extra special! The bar had a steak appetizer with gravy that was to die for! The seafood ceviche was flavorful. Welcome drink was superb. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel or services.

YOO2 is well located in the Botafogo neighborhood of Rio. It's a commerce center but also close to the port, although more desirable beaches are a bit of a walk. The check in was easy and ours was a little complicated. The staff was helpful, kind, understanding-it's the kind of place where everyone remembers you even for the few (5) days we were there. The rooms are clean and nice. The amenities inside are minimal. But when we asked for anything--towels, blankets--the staff was willing and eager to supply us. YOO2 provide the best breakfast buffet of any place I've stayed. The items are fresh, plentiful, re-freshed during the morning. 5 juices, several kinds of breads, pastries, jams and a plethora of entrees from simple eggs to more elaborate meat-based dishes. Wonderful fruits and more. Certainly added value to our room. The rooftop bar was lovely and although the weather was a bit prohibitive, the staff gave us blankets and towels, so we could enjoy the view. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

Great views from the rooftop bar, our room had a wonderful view of Christ the Redeemer. The staff was absolutely wonderful, almost everyone spoke english very well. Gym was nice and clean.

Wifi is unstable, rooms are clean bathrooms it depends what you consider clean! Breakfast is good, co working space is not available on floor 1, the do have a room to reserve but only one. For a 5 star hotel it lacks the wow factor and the amenties. Staff are great!

Lovely stay in Botafogo. Larissa at the front desk was very helpful, as was all of the staff. We were lucky to have a corner room with a gorgeous view of the bay and Sugar Loaf. You can see Christ from the rooftop, which has a bar and food and a pool. Easy to Uber anywhere from here. There are Nespresso machines in the rooms with a charge per pod. We would stay here again!

We had a great stay! The view is amazing. The front desk staff was excellent and provided recommendations of where to eat. We stayed in the suite and it was wonderful. Great food at breakfast and at the bar. Rio is now one of our favorite destinations. Diego at the roof top bar is the best!! Go Bills!!

Clean room, specious, incredible view of Sugar Loaf and the Bay. Roof Top Bar staff Ivan, Diego and Junior were an absolute delight! Breakfast was delicious, splendid and plenty to choose from. Vanessa was a gracious host and all the staff were friendly and attentive. The view from the Roof Top was my favorite area with a spectacular view.

Considering Rio standards, this is a good hotel. The rooms are fairly modern, and the rest of the facilities are exactly what you would expect at this level. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Rio. The neighborhood was also very pleasant – much less touristy than Copacabana, which made the stay feel more authentic and relaxed.

Staff were warm, welcoming and helpful! Special mention to Gabriel at check-in who was just a star and Ivan in the rooftop restaurant! The view of the beach from my room was stunning! Decor pillows on bed were very old and gold frame of bedhead was stained/rusted. Mirrors (both eall and lighted small beauty mirror) were dusty/not properly cleaned. Also the light on the beauty mirror was not working.

room a bit on the small size hotel very modern & good location in botafogo which is a lovely part of Rio all the staff were very professional & very helpful when needed any issues were resolved very quickly stayed @ yoo2 before & will return next year the pool is really small but the rooftop dining / drinking area far outweighs the small pool good wifi throughout the hotel
