No pool, bedding was dirty, room was dirty, there were roaches, shady people standing out side on balcony all night. I was very disappointed and disgusted i will never ever go back again!
The beds are like rocks was there for 2 nights. The room was dirty. I went to the store and bought cleaning products. They advertise a pool which is non existence. They give you a sheet to sleep with no blankets in room. The walls have not been clean in years. There was a hole in the ceiling in the bathroom that thru popped a fan vent over. The bedroom the sun shines right in with blinds closed. The pictures online are made up it is not at all like it. You cannot hang a towel anywhere. Ants in room. Sink did not drain. They charge 250 a nite not worth it.
So I had low expectations going into this place because of the price, but I didn’t realize the plumbing would back up and stack pipe water would be over flowing from the base of the toilet the next morning. I woke up 6:30am stepped onto a soaking wet floor. Called the office they did come right over with 2 towels lol the floor was soaked. Then he comes back with a sheet half ass wipes it up and leaves basically saying you’ll get a new room later. We couldn’t shower because the water was overflowing from the toilet the moment you turned it on. At that point I packed up and requested a refund for the second day because I was out of there before 8:30am. They claimed they would refund for the second day so we shall see.
This is terrible motel. There were people with drugs and the cops came here twice. Please do not trust the pictures of the motel. The rooms are very dirty and they smell of urine.
This place was not safe and every now and then the police were there. The sheets and towels were horrible. Since the rooms smelt so bad, they had put an overdose of room freshner. I would never ever ask anyone to book this place even if it is cheap. I am shocked that hotels.com has even listed this place. When i reached out to hotels.com they washed their hands and did not want to help. I did not expect this from a reputed site. I do not want anyone else to go thru what i went thru and its best to skip this place. I just could not stay there and when i asked hotels.com for a refund i got no help.
I’m all our years of traveling for work , have we experienced such a rude , unprofessional, and so poorly kept establishment. Our experience started by the front desk calling us to ask what time we where gonna check in. We proceeded to tell them that we would be checking in late due to the fact that, we were in town working a concert at the beach that ended late. We received 3 follow up calls, from the front desk saying that if we didn’t come in 10 mins they would give our room to someone else. Even though it was already paid for via hotels.com. Once we arrived we were told that we would have to pay $100 for the extra person in the room. So we did with no resistance. Once we enter the room is where the real fun begin. The room was absolutely disgusting it smelled of foul body odor the sheets that were supposed to be white or yellow we proceeded to call the front desk to ask for clean sheets and they told us to F off a because they where already sleeping. and if we didn’t like it that we would be free to go with no refund. The next morning upon leaving we received the phone call saying that our credit card would be charged and additional fee because we had damage their air conditioner in refrigerator which we did not even use the place was so disgusting nothing in the room was touched. This place is should be inspected by the local health dept. Dirty, Foul smelling, poor service.
I read the recent review about the filth and overwhelming air freshener smell too late to cancel, so we went and I hoped for the best. Check in was like an interrogation and very unwelcoming, as we were asked how many people and if we had animals twice, as if we were not believed. The air freshener smell was indeed overwhelming. The bathroom door didnt shut, the toilet seat was dirty, the dresser reeked of mildew when you open the door and drawers. The pillows were dirty and smelled like dirty hair, the lamp shade has what appears to be blood splatter on it. We tried to leave and come back, tried keeping the door open and after a few hours we checked out and went elsewhere. When I checked out, it didnt seem to matter. We hadnt even left yet and two employees were in the room. I would think if someone checks out after a few hours, and they dont rent by the hour, then they would be curious and ask if things are ok? I turned the AC unit off to see if that would help with the air freshener, but then it smelled of mildew. I knew I wasnt booking a fancy place, and I dont even care about it being run down - but so much air freshener my eyes were literally burning! We had headaches, and could not breathe. Everything was filthy. There was a random door to somewhere that I had no way of insuring it would stay locked. The pics indeed are not accurate. What are they hiding with the air freshener?
Worst hotel stay of my life. Just a complete dump. The tiny lobby stunk of Middle Eastern food (which I like, but not as a lobby smell). Their was some kind of glass or bullet-proof glass all the way up, with a small tray to slide papers and keys under. It went downhill from here. We asked for a nonsmoking room, and was assured it was a nonsmoking room. Lugged suitcases upstairs (no elevator) to find it wreaked of heavy cigarette smoke. Went back to the lobby and asked for another room because our stunk of cigarettes, AND THEY ARGUED, SAYING IT DID NOT SMELL OF CIGARETTES! They spoke almost zero English, I will add. Finally after arguing the guy gave me a new room, which had a huge smell of room deodorizer. As we were standing there with the door open, the owner/manager's wife (or whatever) came by and said we could not use the second bedroom in the suite. She was nasty about it. Because our original bedroom wasn't a suite, we were not to use the second bedroom in this one. She repeated it over and over, angrily. Are ya KIDDING ME??!!
When we left the next day, I went into the office ready to chew the guy out, up and down. Instead I told him I have stayed in a LOT of nice hotels all over the country and world. I told him if a customer tells you the room smells like smoke, you apologize, AND GET HIM ANOTHER ROOM WITHOUT ARGUING! Other guests were standing around complaining about the place, too. Shame on Hotels.com for even including them in their list.
Room was clean and comfortable, but ask for a room AWAY from the road. Sirens and those stupid loud mufflers those idiots are using these days will keep you up all night.
This is a low budget "no frills" motel. It's basically a dive but the rooms are priced that way. The bathroom would not pass safety code inspections today. maybe it's grandfathered in.
my room was clean, i didn't see any bugs. no odors or smoke smell in the room either. bed was comfortable.
the towels and linens were very old. the toilet paper was like cardboard. no shampoo or toiletries. seems like owners are trying to save every nickel they can.
if they charged an extra buck per
night maybe they could give you a new towel and shampoo?
Checking in were 123. However my nights were terrible. I am a traveling nurse, who works 16 shifts. When i get to my hotel all i want to do is shower and go to sleep. On my way to my room there were guest hanging out smoking. I woke up at 2am coughing from smoke from other guest disgusting smoking habits and noise. The place needs a make over steps are dirty . Floors needs sweeping.
