Check night temps before traveling, take cash

It was Dec so a little too cold in the desert for a comfortable sleep. They enough provided enough quilts but when the bed is cold, it is cold :-) They had warm running water, bathrooms were clean and well equipped. They do not take credit cards so be prepared to carry cash. The owner met us in the city afterwards, we had to stand in line, withdraw money multiple times from the ATM to give him cash. He was very friendly but the process took away time from our schedule.

It is a fantastic Desert Camp with spectacular views. A MUST DO when you visit Morocco! 🇲🇦 Youssef and his team made our 2-day stay, which is needed to experience the camp and the dessert, to an unforgettable vacation experience for our whole family. Thanks to the Desert Camp Team, we will come back next time when we are in Morocco.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! From the start of the booking process to dropping us back with our tour guide, Youssef was extremely professional, friendly and knowledgable. The site is as beautiful as advertised. And the food was perhaps the very best we ate in all of Morocco! And camels, camels, camels! (actually dromedaries). The accommodation was extremely spacious, modern and comfortable while still maintaining a traditional Saharan vibe. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Très bien!!

Très belle expérience en plein coeur du désert. Les pieds dans la dune, littéralement. Service au top (diner copieux et très bon, mais à payer en extra) avec des jeunes adorables qui vous accueillent très bien (petit concert le premier soir). Le wifi ne marche pas dans les chambres éloignées de la tente commune. Pas grave mais faut le dire. Ils vont installer la clim apparemment. En attendant il faut vivre l’expérience authentique. Magique le soir avec les étoiles. Très joli "jardin" pour regarder le désert . Un vrai effort de décoration. Romantique

A dreamy experience in the Sahara Desert

We absolutely loved our stay at Anamar. The luxury camp experience was above and beyond all expectations. So much has to do with the host / owner Youssef. He responded quickly with communication prior to our arrival and extended all that we could want to enjoy, including the dreamy camel ride and 4X4 drive to visit nomads. The pictures don't do the place justice as the sunset night sky were dreamy. We loved it!
