“This was our second stay here. We came back as it is the place to go if you go to San Juan Del Sur and want to relax and be away from the busy life of town AND there is a beach nearby. Has a Mama Mia vibe to it. Perhaps we were off season, but the food was not as good as our first visit. I kept being promised they would have the peanut butter chocolate bars “tomorrow”, but these delicious bars I enjoyed last time never materialized. I think next time we will try a different place.”

“My husband and I had an amazing stay here! Cozy, clean, and had all the amenities we could ask for.My husband loves to cook, and the property had everything we needed for our nice dinners with the sound and view of nature.I enjoyed my coffees in the morning listening to all different types of bird songs, and even the howler monkeys was an exotic nice experience.I highly recommend this place.”

“This was our second time staying at casa tranquila! We absolutely love the house, the neighborhood, the views of the ocean and the jungle, all the monkeys in the trees, down to the guys watching the gate to enter balcones de majagual!!! Joel and Laura are always super fast at responding and making sure you are taken care of...... Gabriela at the Remax office is super helpful with lining up shuttles and SUV rental! We will be back! “Beware! This property is not as advertised. The advertisement that the house is “Beachside” is a stretch. House is on top of a steep hill from the beach with multiple other houses between it and the beach. Some key pictures in the listing are outdated; for example, the listing picture of an ocean view from the first floor no longer applies as it appears to have been taken over 10 years ago before tree growth blocked the view. The home is advertised as inside Rancho Santana; however, what is not……
