Yorktown Riverwalk Landing Hotels

"You have to ask for room service. I asked twice and never got any. You can hear everything happening in the halls as the doors aren’t sealed properly, no hot water for 2 days. No breakfast. Other than that the room was okay at best. Some lady threw a basketball at my truck. She was tweaked out and after I got out to confront her she started dancing and didn’t even care. I think they live at the hotel which is crazy to me. I might just of had terrible luck with this hotel but that was my experience and I don’t usually write reviews but I had to on this one. I’ve stayed in over 100 hotels and this one was by far the weirdest. "

"Motel had a bad smell. Front desk staff was running motel next door also. Beds were uncomfortable. Definitely not a $80 a night room. Very disappointed. "

"Pros: The staff were excellent and very friendly! Cons: The pool was closed for the entire duration of our stay for unknown reasons. The bathroom (specifically around the toilet area) was not as clean as I would have expected. The couch in our room had suspicious-looking stains on it and none of us dared to sit on it."

"We had a great stay here over Christmas - the house was perfect for what we needed - three families, close to attractions, comfortable, lots of communal space but also a space to step away so it didn't ever feel too crowded even though there were a lot of us. The kitchen was really well stocked - far better than most vacation rentals - so we could cook a large dinner quite easily. The host communicated clearly and was responsive to all contacts. It worked out perfectly. "
