MAXWELL 2BDRMBATH SUITE-OUTDOOR KITCHEN-PRIVATE LIGHTED PIER ON BAFFIN BAY

Private access /secluded 2bdrm/whirlpool bath listing secluded from rest of home. No shared spaces in home. No indoor kitchen access/there is a very nice outdoor farmhouse sink & grill cooking area. Private lighted 315’ pier. Located directly in the Cayo de Grullo secluded fingers of Baffin Bay. Property and pier are directly on Baffin Bay. Breathtaking sunsets and 180 degreee incredible views. Booking rate is 3 people over age 2. Each additional guest is $25 per day whether for one hour or overnight not to exceed 6 guests in the booking. Extra guests must be declared in advance. Space sleeps 4 comfortably. Electricity on outdoor counter for electric skillet (provided). Microwave & oversized dorm frig & coffeemaker. You provide your own propane or we provide for $30 ALL pets must be declared and PAID for before staying. When guests are not in the house, pets MUST BE KENNELED. We can provide a kennel. Pet (1-2 small OR 1 large maximum) per stay charge is $30 up to 3 day stay or $40 for 4+ nites. Add-on spa pool rental now available. $30 1-2 adults over age 18 for 90 min by appointment. Fee & agreement must-be paid prior to use. Note: we have one dog under 15 pounds on the premises which stays leashed when outside. She barks as all dogs do. Occasionally we have grandchildren, laughter and tears on-site. We welcome your children & your pets. ❤️ Bookings limited to seven nights unless by special arrangement.

Beautiful place very relaxing. The pier at night looks beautiful two bedrooms very comfortable suitable for five people only no kitchen, but an outdoor kitchen. It was nice.

Had an amazing stay and fishing experience.

The Maxwell's were really awesome and accomodating. Caught lots of fish and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. We were very pleased with our stay and hope to do it again sometime next year.

Beautiful little place on the water. Family truly enjoyed the stay. Would recommend to anyone that enjoys being outside and enjoying the Texas Coast.

Cozy

Great clean place with a nice lighted fishing pier. Drums were biting great on dead shrimp off the left corner. Bedrooms were clean with sofas to relax on besides the bed. Price is perfect for a great fishing getaway.

Great weekend getaway!!

My first go-to for fishing weekend getaways. Very comfortable and quiet place..It has a beautiful patio/bbq area, and not having to share the pier is the best!!

Very nice place. With owners on-site, you might feel like you are intruding, but it’s not an issue. No kitchen or fridge so don’t brings groceries but it’s way better than a hotel in Kingsville. Great fishing pier. Beautiful views.

Perfect private fishing on private pier. Owners live on site, in other half of house, but private rental is blocked off from thier half. Very friendly welcome. We will rent again.

Everything 5-Star except did not know one of the bedrooms is essentially the living room also. Also, shower hot water went cool for a minute or two, then hot again. But the room price has been adjusted for the above, so overall a very good stay. Will most likely book here again.

Baffin Bay Fishing Pier and Back Deck

This is the perfect setup for an outdoor cooking and fishing relaxing vacation. Plenty of parking for a truck and boat. Easy drive to a public ramp. The back deck had plenty of room to relax, the bbq grill area was awesome. The private fishing pier had a lit up walk way with a big green fishing light, and property was really well kept. We caught plenty for trout off the dock. The bed was very comfortable, the oversized jetted tub was a nice way to wrap up your day. Within a hour and half of Padre Island, which we enjoyed that without pup. Gerri and Art were great people, easy going, and hospitable. We will return for another vacation. Was a great trip!

We booked our stay for the proximity to South Padre yet more rural. The description stated that the it was "an entire home" when in fact it was the side entrance to an area of two bedrooms with a frig, microwave and toaster oven in the hallway between the two rooms with the no eating area except outside. We returned from sightseeing on the 2nd night to find several unwanted insects running around. We actually felt uncomfortable staying a 3rd night and checked out early. The host was quick to respond and stated that they would promptly spray, but no compensation was made. The view of the bay was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable.

Nice, but….

Overall, this is a nice place to stay. Just not for us. After staying here, I can now interpret the description better. This is a nice house but they are only renting out 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. They have closed off a hallway to separate the “apartment”. It’s clean, the beds are comfortable and the outdoor space is nice. Unfortunately, there is not an area inside to gather (there were 3 of us). There are only the two bedrooms. Instead of a kitchen area, there is an apartment sized refrigerator, a microwave and a Keurig coffee maker. We set up a portable table (that we brought) so we could have a place to put our snacks and things. It just felt very cramped. The owner was wonderful. She communicated quickly and efficiently. Again, nice place but just not what we needed.

Very clean and comfy rooms, nice deck to sit and take in the breeze. Near by bait shops, one with morning breakfast tacos and lunch plates. If you want to stay in a quiet, peaceful place. For the price I highly recommend this cozzy place. Great communication with property owner.
