“Very cute cabin with plenty of space. Off a gravel road. Really close to AT, McAfee Knob, Dragons Tooth, and not far from Salem for food and stuff. We stayed in late October, and it was chilly out, but the cabin was warm and cozy. Great view of the stars. ”

“The cabin was very quiet, just what we came for during our sisters' weekend getaway as a meeting place between North Carolina and Ohio. It was very clean (that's important and easily critiqued for me). The photos don't do the nice cabin justice. It's new, and still has a new smell as of October 2025. And unusual for new construction, the pretty wood floors are creeky; rustic feeling but very noticable in the quiet space.Not shown/explained is one bathroom is downstairs with two bedrooms, and one……

“Positives: Comfortable, cozy, well-appointed. Peaceful, serene, pictures. Abundant deer, turkey, and wildlife. Good fishing at pond. Improvements: Eliminate cobwebs and pet hair. Eliminate sulfur smell in water.”

“Host answered questions in a timely manner. The house was comfortable, with plenty of room for the four of us . The steep steps to the dock were slippery due to the rain and wet leaves. It was a relaxing four days.”

“The cabin was sooooo cute and totally private tucked in the woods. It had everything we needed for our short weekend stay. It was well-appointed and very comfortable. The host was very responsive. The smoke alarm was beeping when we arrived and he was there within moments to resolve it. ”

“We absolutely loved staying here at this cabin! It was the perfect break from the chaos of the world lately. The owners did state they are building a bigger bunk house on their property so I plan to return with more of my family. We are very thankful for this retreat in the woods. Also, this is a bit random- but I loved the bathhouse. It was beautiful and very clean!”

“Check-in was super easy. The houses had everything we needed and they were clean. Kitchen was fully stocked and most everything was labeled and easy to find. Would definitely stay here again! ”
