We had a fantastic stay at La Placita. The breakfast was delicious with great variety and fresh options every morning The location is perfect: many restaurants and shops are super close, and the beach is just a short walk away. The staff was exceptional, especially Kimberly, who was always smiling, helpful, and made our stay extra special. Highly recommended! I’ll definitely return

Clean room and property, mostly friendly staff, and not a bunch of rude guests like most bigger resorts. It's not on the beach which we knew going into it, but not a far walk to the Mayan beach or pool. There were never any beach chairs avaliable but really didn't bother us. Breakfast was decent and the young man working in there was extremely polite and friendly. If you're looking for a 5 star resort on the beach this isn't it, but it's a nice resort with a "small town" feel. We moved to Infinity Bay after this and while it was more upscale, I'd definitely come back here before returning to Infinity Bay. Overall a great stay

This is great value. The hotel isn't very big but with the Placita (the small square) just outside, and the pool and beach just across the small parking lot, it was very conveniently located. I had no issues whatsoever. The rooms were nice and clean and comfortable. There are events in the evening in the Placita, so if you go to bed before 9pm and you're sensitive to noise, you may want a more isolated place. But if you like having things like live music or karaoke a few steps away, then you'll love this place.

We were very happy with our choice of La Placita. We read lots of reviews to help make our choice...selling point for us were the pool we got to use at La Serenis which was literally steps away from La Placita lobby and that we got to use lounge chairs at La Sirenas included with staying at La Placita. Staff were very helpful. The included daily breakfast was excellent, and we loved the location so close to many reataurants and the beach. If you are worried about not being directly on the beach...don't! We've had to walk further when staying at an all inclusive resort than we did when staying at La Placita. A fabulous stay! We will be back :)

Ho soggiornato insieme al mio compagno all’Hotel La Placita e mi sono trovata davvero benissimo. La posizione è ottima: in soli due minuti a piedi si raggiunge una delle spiagge più belle dell’isola, il che rende il soggiorno ancora più piacevole e rilassante. Il ristorante offre ottimi piatti per la colazione, con proposte varie e di qualità, perfette per iniziare al meglio la giornata. La camera era grande, spaziosa e sempre pulita, curata nei dettagli e molto confortevole. Sicuramente un hotel super consigliato per chi cerca una struttura vicino alla spiaggia, ai migliori ristoranti e ai negozi. Ci tornerei volentieri!

The room was beautiful, well appointed, lovely bathroom, comfortable bed, nice complimentary breakfast, good location, nice pool and easy access to the beach. Nearby restaurants and convenient store (walking). Cold cold shower, and it never got hot or even warm.

All Staff is very helpful and friendly and the rooms are clean and well maintained. Michael was so helpful and went out of his way to make sure my wife was comfortable when she was ill. Edward in the restaurant is outstanding and the food is great. Great place and we will be back.

La Placita a small boutique hotel with great accommodations. The rooms were very nice, modern and the location was very convenient. The accommodations were nice, clean, and cleaned well daily. No bugs. The bed was a little harder than we preferred, but a mattress topper made it just right to sleep well. Kimberly and Michael at the front desk were very attentive and warm. The hotel manager, Angel is very helpful, checked in often, and has great rapport with his staff. He went above and beyond for us, locating a specialty pharmacy in Coxen Hole that carried the medication needed and delivered it within a few hours!!! The staff made it feel safe, supported, and even pampered. (It’s a vacation, after all!) I wasn’t a fan of the musician they had on the weekends, but that may just be my personal taste (or lack thereof.) Their Le Bistrot restaurant served delicious breakfasts with both American and Central American fare. Excellent fish tacos for lunch. The main server, Edward was exceptionally friendly and became an instant friend. There are a couple of restaurants in the shopping area in front of the hotel that also have good food. The beach is a 3 minute walk, very convenient. There is also a beautiful pool next door with towels and beach lounge chairs included. We would definitely stay there again!!

The room was clean and had everything we needed. The restaurants and convenience stores outside were great. The location was perfect for walking everywhere. The breakfast included was perfect. All of the staff were helpful with all of our questions or needs. The access to the pool and beach chairs at the hotel located beside was an added bonus!
