We stayed Six days. Staff was exceptionally nice. Location was perfect. Food was plentiful but a little bland. We enjoyed the two nights with restaurant service instead of buffet. The location is hard to beat the people are very nice, clean comfortable accommodations. The pool and ocean water are wonderful. We loved our vacation.

The place is very clean, the room is cleaned daily unless you prefer privacy. The air conditioning helped keep cool during the middle of the day, and bottled water (5 gallon dispensers) is provided everywhere (including 1/2 gallon bottled water in the room). Sheets and bed fixtures are high quality. Now the staff is the highlight of the Mayan Princess. They are all adorned in crisp clean uniforms, welcome you each day, and are extremely professional. each member went above and beyond to ensure I enjoyed my stay. Note: I had issues with my phone, and over the days it took to resolve the issue, the staff accommodated me using company phones, and getting staff to take my phone for repairs. Laundry service was excellent, and the on site massage therapy was convenient. Overall the staff was stellar, and it's the warm feeling that will bring me back again. I can go on all-day to explain how amazing the beach, the water, sand domestic plant and animal life improve the overall relaxation you feel when you visit a beautiful beach Compared to other tropical Caribbean beaches I've visited the coral sand here is softer, the water is clearer each day and overall pleasant for walking on barefoot (even if there is a 30 minute rain). I did visit each restaurant/bar(s) on site and each had it's own charm local specialty drinks with informative staff to explain history of the area, the drinks, culture, mangroves, etc. It is an overall wonderful place to visit and then visit again.

My wife and I spent a week here for our anniversary. Our room was right on the beach and was perfect for us. We enjoyed the food at the buffet and the specialty restaurants were great as well. The nightly entertainment was a little lacking but was not an issue. We felt safe and did not have any worry of our things being stolen from our beach chairs. Beware of the unsolicited tour offers from the beach tour salesman. They all appear to work for the same company but pricing varies from salesman to salesman. The beach vendors are out there in full force and will aprroach multiple times per day. Drink waiters at the beach were sparse and we usually just got our own drinks from the bar, but they are close by. The last full day we were there the power was out for a few hours during the morning and on our last night, the power was off and on for several hours between 2 and 5 am. Overall, I would stay at this property again.

Had a wonderful vacation at the Mayan Princess. The room was super nice and the food was pretty good for buffet all inclusive. 13 days and didn't really get tired of the menu. The beach was very clean but very busy as expected. The reef was awesome with hours of snorkeling new areas. The one complaint about West Bay is that all the water taxis, dive boats, and tour boats were constantly driving around and many were 2-stroke outboards to the smell of gas and exhaust was sometimes pretty bad.

I’m not someone who usually takes the time to write reviews, but my experience at the Mayan Princess impacted me in a way I didn’t expect—and I felt like I had to share it. From the moment I arrived, something felt different. It wasn’t just that the place is beautiful (which it is), or that everything was clean and well-kept. It was the people. There was a genuine warmth in how I was welcomed—like I wasn’t just another guest checking in, but someone they were truly happy to see. Throughout my stay, that feeling never went away. The staff remembered my name, checked in on me, and always made sure I had what I needed. I’ve stayed at other all-inclusive resorts before, and while they were nice, this felt more personal. More human. It created a family-like atmosphere that made it easy to relax and just enjoy being there. Traveling solo, that meant a lot. I never felt out of place or alone. Some of those staff members that stood out were Stefeny, Victor and Brittany. Then when one of the tour guides unexpectedly canceled my pre-booked tour, the staff were able to find me a private tour guide for about the same price that was exceptional. His name was Big Daddy and knows everything and everybody. I highly recommend him if you’re going to be on the island (info@bigdaddytours.com). The resort itself is peaceful, the beach is beautiful, everything you’d want in a getaway is there—but what truly sets this place apart is the heart behind it. The food is delicious as well.

The pool and jacuzzi were really nice. Rated a little bit lower because the rooms are a little outdated but are still very clean. We booked two room for our family and they put us in separate buildings, which was not ideal. We loved the buffet and restaurant food. Usually buffet food is pretty bad but we liked everything we had, the meat was cooked well and all of their sauces were yummy. The beach was perfect and the workers would put up umbrellas for us. Drinks were strong and the workers were very friendly.

Majority of the staff were pretty rude or non attentive. Also I didn’t spend my vacation to be interrupted every 10 minutes by someone selling knockoff bracelets on the beach. Kitchen staff was pretty slow as well, will recommend friends and family to go to a different resort.

Property was very clean , well kept . Room was cleaned daily and a/c worked well . Really noce pool except had many small blue tiles missing from the bottom . Food was good at the restaurants but the buffed was a little small and always a long line at the egg/omelet station . Also there was only bacon on Friday ,, I love bacon , lol . Beach was awesome , clean , perfect water . Never found any servers to bring drinks on the beach but the bar was close by . Security was great and had police presence on the beach every day , never felt unsafe . Will definitly return !!!

Mayan Princess is a fabulous resort!! The staff are all so friendly and helpful. The property is so lush, beautiful and well kept. House keeping dirs a fabulous job. The beach is gorgeous and never felt i was crowded. The food delicious and always found more than enough to eat. Drinks were exceptional. Water provided everywhere in room and water dispensers throughout property. Ice was safe. Had a great snorkel experience with the dive shop. All around highly recommend this property.

"I wanted to share feedback on my recent stay at your hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff were fantastic! The 'All Inclusive package' was a great value, but the food quality didn't quite match up. Specifically, the bread and pizza options felt repetitive and stale, and the salad bar was often depleted without timely refills. Guests were looking to let loose, but the vibe fell flat 🙁. One night of entertainment isn't enough – live music or shows can really make the experience. On the bright side, the beach was stunning and truly relaxing 😊. To elevate the experience, I'd love to see more varied and freshly prepared food options, and live music or entertainment . Hope this helps enhance future guests' stays!"
