On the beach

This house is a thirty second walk from west bay beach and is located in beautiful West Bay Village. It is a beach level condo style rental and has air conditioning and free wifi. Guests will find a find everything they need to prepare meals in the house and are walking distance to more than a dozen restaurants and bars. There is a kitchen to enjoy meals and a living room with a TV to entertain. There is also a large screened in porch that is fully furnished, has a hammock and is surrounded by a tropical garden.

It was perfect!

We loved this spot! Steps to the beach, completely furnished kitchen, beach towels, bug spray, coffee filters and water. We got a free cleaning with fresh linens half way through our stay. Luke was very accommodating, he had a taxi driver waiting for us at the airport that took us to the store first. Helped unload our bags, and was there and available for whatever we needed throughout our stay. The house was very clean and well maintained, the screened in porch was really nice and no bugs! We had a security guard at the beach for the villages, she was lovely, watched our things for us when we went to snorkel or anything else we did. Great place! Highly recommend!

Wonderful location! Luke helped make our trip one of our best. The house is located steps from the ocean. No shoes needed! The house was nice and exactly as shown in the pictures. Plenty of room for our family (me, wife, 2 teenage daughters.) The beds were comfy and we enjoyed hanging out in the house and on the screened in porch at night. Luke is great. He had a driver set up for us when we arrived at the airport. He took us to the grocery store so we could stock up before heading to the house. This took any anxiety away about having to pick a trustworthy driver for my family. Luke also helped set up a driver to take us to the Chocolate Factory and Mayan Eden Sloth Park. This was way cheaper than doing a tour and having to pay to get to the tour pickup location. We had a great time and got to spend time really taking it in without feeling rushed. Lissette is the Security Guard that sits at the beach entrance. She is awesome. Such a nice person & she watches your stuff if you want to walk to the restaurants or just along the beach. She also can recommend the right water taxi & excursion people to use. Take care of her at the end of your trip. She is priceless! Lastly, lots of great places to eat super close by. Prices/food are great for being on a beach. Thirsty Turtle was our family fav. 3 for a Barena beer! Walk up the alley to find more restaurants and shops. Roatan is safe and you will love the beach and ocean!

The perfect beach location!

The place was clean and the owner very responsive. The beach pathway led up to literally the front door. In the picture, it is the bottom unit so no stairs to climb. Beach floaties provided there are beach chairs also available as part of the community where the condo is located. Walking distance to many restaurants, a coffee shop, 2 convenience stores, a pharmacy and en emergency clinic if needed. The bedrooms are not right next to each other (separated by bathrooms) so ideal if you want privacy or a quiet nights sleep. It was a little confusing to figure out how to light the stove and oven (we accidentally left the gas on), so just be conscious of the need to turn everything off when done. Oh and air conditioners in every room!

Perfect Location with Great Host

The location is perfect (right on West Bay Beach) and the host was super helpful. He booked our transportation to and from the airport with a grocery store stop coming in. Gave us the info for a great water taxi guy that we used for the entire trip and booked a full day tour of activities we wanted to do while on the island. I would happily stay again! We loved it because we could cook breakfast and lunch daily then spend money diving and eating out at really nice restaurants for dinner. A great cost savings to us.

We had a great time staying at West Bay Delight! Luke was accessible and very helpful! Steps away from your own private beach spot and a super nice security guard to watch over your things and help you with beach chairs. Be sure to tip her! Restaurants and bars steps away. Super convenient spot!

West Bay, Roatan, September 2024

Luke's place is wonderful and well stocked with everyday essentials. Luke provides bottled water and is very quick to replace the water as soon as you let him know. We had a minor "issue" with the door one evening and Luke was there to make sure everything was okay. Showers were great and as warm as you like. The master bed was comfy. The safe in the closest worked great. We made ice and Luke has the cutest little ice maker in the freezer. A very brief walk to the beach and that entrance is guarded 24/7. Also very easy to get to the street to walk to those stores and other places to eat. We have been to Roatan 3 times now and never once have we felt unsafe. The local people are super nice and everyone just wants to be happy. We will return to Roatan again and to date we have rented a condo, went all inclusive and now Luke's house. We would return to Luke's place in a heartbeat. We been vacationing in the Caribbean for 30 plus years and we tend to move around even if we find a place we like. Always looking for a new adventure.

The house was perfect for what we needed- a comfortable place to eat meals and rest in between trips to the beach and other excursions. Luke is a very kind and helpful host. We had all sorts of complications with our trip (no fault of Luke's) and he was accommodating.

Great spot for a family to enjoy the beach. All you need a short beach walk away. Really nice having two bedrooms and separate beds for the kids.

Best area on West Bay

Beach house was clean and spacious. Comfortable with plenty of conveniences. Cook or grill or walk 5 minutes to whatever restaurant you like. The beach is a stroll down the sand and past the friendly security guard. If you need anything at all, the owner is right there onsite ready to accommodate you. We had a fantastic week. The only negative was having to leave!

Just like the photos show it!

Luke has a great little place here in a fantastic location. Steps to the beach... restaurants and small grocery store close by. Even a great little coffee shop next the grocery store. The place has everything. We have travelled a lot and stayed in many rentals. Can't think of any thing that was missed. If coming to Roatan again we would certainly stay here again. Luke was very fast to respond with any questions in advance, and was on site when we arrived to say hello and answer any questions. He knows the area very well. We did not do any cooking, just made breakfast and lunch most days, but it appeared everything was there if we had decided to do so. Decent wifi (no problems streaming anything). Next time I would bring along my HDMI cable to plug into his TV in order to play any of our streaming content on the TV. In our opinion a much nicer place to stay than any of the adjacent hotels. (unless you are looking for crowds and party friends) There are likley quieter locations on the island but if you want to be walking distance to any amenities and the beach. I doubt you can find many better than this. Thanks Luke!

Great place to stay with your family

We loved our stay in Luke's place. The rental had everything that we needed and it was 30 second walk to the beach. Luke was amazing to communicate with. Very helpful in coordinating our pick up from the airport as well as a stop at the grocery store. He was always available for any questions we had. The location of the rental is ideal. Easy walk down the beach to the best snorkeling as well as access to many restaurants. There is security in the village and at the beach. We always felt safe with our family. Definitely recommend staying at west bay delight!

Amazing Stay

Probably the best location in Roatan! Luke was a great host, very helpful, chill and kind. 75paces (30seconds) to the water. Amazing snorkelling accessible from shore just to the left of the dock, fun area for playing in the waves just to the right. Loved hanging out in the hammock on the patio in the evenings under the beautiful, tranquil canopy. Lots of comfortable living space inside for our family of 4. There is 24hr security at most places along West Bay, including West Bay Village, and we felt very safe at all times. Unit had everything we needed for our stay. We cooked most of our meals at the unit which was easy with the well stocked kitchen. Luke arranged a driver to pick us up from the airport and we added a stop at the grocery store (Eldons) near the airport for an extra $10. We found two convenience stores in West Bay with a smaller selection but adequate for a few extra things during our stay. Would love to come back!

Luke’s place is ideal for anyone looking for a central base for exploring West Bay.

The property is absolutely clean and stylish. It is exactly the same as shown in the pictures and within walking distance to the beach. The host had excellent restaurant recommendations and was of great help. He went way beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Thanks Luke for such a wonderful time! We will be back!

Charming Beach House in West Bay

Perfect West Bay Beach house in the best area of Roatan. Luke's place is steps away from the beach and great restaurants. The host was extremely attentive to all of our requests and questions. We highly recommend Lukes's place.
