“The hosts should consider a smoother check in and check out procedure. There was a general lack of effective communication. The layout was a bit unusual with one full bathroom next to the kitchen and not near either of the main bedrooms. We only found out about a third bedroom into our stay. The property also had several expense items that are unusual including having to rent and pay extra for linens and requiring a security deposit refundable by the host after an inspection on check out. “Die Wohnung liegt total zentral und hat alles was man braucht. Sogar eine Waschmaschine. Der nächste Bäcker ist 2 Minuten Fußweg entfernt, der Supermarkt genau gegenüber. Im Nu ist man am Strand und in der Altstadt. Maria spricht sehr gut deutsch und ist sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Der Garagenstelllplatz ist super! Alles in Allem sehr zu empfehlen Danke Maria”

“The house was very spacious. It was very clean. It had a lovely private garden/ orchard and although the pool was not big it was good for cooling off. There was a cafe next door and a bakery next door to that. There is a supermarket about 3mins in the car away and there are a few local restaurants. We only ate at one, Il Sogno.. Not a huge menu but a very good meal. Communication with the host was good. Good outside seating, could maybe do with more comfortable seating inside. A very pleasant……

“The accommodations were spacious and very comfortable for our family. Everything was within walking distance and we enjoyed our time there very much. We had several parking options nearby (paid or unpaid for a slight walk) and we also had access to a grocery store if we wanted to cook at home. The historic property is unique and the interior was beautifully appointed. ”

“The property is not walking distance to Castro as described. This should be removed from the description as you need a car to to anywhere. It has lovely views but for the price lacks the higher end facilities that we would expect e.g. the kitchen had many appliances but most were old and could do with replacing. There was ample linen though the towels were not very hard. Outside the small pool had only 2 sun beds both of which had seen better days. For a 4 bed villa 2 beds were not sufficient……

The fenced yard with all of it;s trees and garden was perfect for us and our dog to enjoy the outside.The location of this villa is good for visiting places in Puglia and has good restaurants nearby. Valentina and her father, Alessandro, are the perfect hosts and very responsive. Lovely stay!”

“This is a very comfortable, well-equipped apartment located very close to one of the gates into the Old Town of Lecce. Shops, restaurants and bars are all within easy walking distance. There is also a Conrad supermarket less than a kilometre from the apartment. The only minor irritant is the presence across the road from the apartment of a mobile fast food van which can be quite noisy in the late evening and early evening. But it didn’t really disturb us much. The Old Town of Lecce is impressive……
