Unique experience

Unique opportunity to stay in a Troglodyte. View is worth the climb. Easily found parking. Great location - used as base to tour the Loire valley. Would stay again if we return to the area.

So unique

We checked a very cool box by starting in this adorable troglodyte apartment. The property manager was accommodating and offered great communication, going out of her way to meet us outside so we knew exactly where to go. This is a unique apartment with beautiful views! We would definitely do this again! Highly recommend!

Beautiful view, great location

We stayed here for six nights and would definitely stay again. The gite is exactly as it was portrayed in the photos. Julie, our host, was very helpful and responsive to our questions. The gite was comfortable with everything needed for two people. We loved sitting out on the terrace and looking out over the river while having breakfast or an Apero. There is a wonderful bakery in the center of town for getting morning croissant, and we had a fabulous dinner at a local restaurant called Le Part Belle. There were also some lovely walking trails around the town, both along the river and up in the vineyards, that we enjoyed. It is a little hike up to the gite, but it was a good way to get in more steps. Parking was safe and easy down on the Quai. Thank you!

Un bonheur !

ExpĂ©rience troglodytique extra, un gĂźte avec une belle surface, une chouette terrasse avec vue magnifique, un « nid d’aigle » tout confort et wifi fonctionnel. Un peu sportif d’y accĂ©der mais quand vous ĂȘtes chez vous, vous ĂȘtes seuls au monde. Les hĂŽtes sont trĂšs gentils, accueil parfait et toujours avec le sourire . Nous conseillons vivement le petit dĂ©jeuner proposĂ©, pains et viennoiseries tout frais nous ont rĂ©galĂ©, Ă  tel point que nous ne mangions quasiment pas Ă  midi. Formidable!!!

What a wonderful experience. The village is lovely, the Gite is exactly how described: quaint, spacious, and even bright! 400m from a patisseries, small grocery, and bus stop with easy access to Tours. Julie is warm, accessible, and very helpful. Place is perfect for a couple, and even with a small child. HIGHLY recommend...and am already thinking how I can return with family next time!

Troglodyte in super Lage mit Blick auf die Loire

Super Lage, gewöhnungsbedĂŒrftiges Raumklima, teilweise, wegen der Raumfeuchte, Schimmel in den SchrĂ€nken, tĂ€glich Schmutz, durch die vielen Tauben am Fels, auf der Terasse, trotzdem Abenteuer pur. Freundliche Vermieterin. Gesamteindruck gut.

Great experience in Rochecorbon

Julie was so very helpful and responsive with any questions or requests. She provided great recommendations for restaurants and things to see in the area. You must ask for the breakfast and Julie brought this up each morning. Was great to sit out on the patio, have a French breakfast. Rochecorbon was very relaxed and what we needed. Thanks again Julie for a great stay.

Dormir dans une chambre troglodyte est une expĂ©rience dĂ©paysante. Il y rĂšgne un calme, une sensation d'ĂȘtre retirĂ© de tout, enfoui dans la terre qui invite Ă  retrouver un sommeil de bĂ©bĂ©. Mais notre troglo Ă©tait en hauteur et dĂšs le rĂ©veil, depuis la terrasse, la vue sur la Loire Ă©tait magnifique. Notre sĂ©jour a Ă©tĂ© un peu gĂąchĂ© par une mĂ©tĂ©o grise, froide et pluvieuse qui nous a entraĂźnĂ©e Ă  visiter Ă  fond jardins, chĂąteaux et boutiques qui ne manquent pas dans cette rĂ©gion !! Julie a Ă©tĂ© trĂšs rĂ©active pour nous aider Ă  rĂ©soudre un petit souci de Wifi Ă  notre arrivĂ©e et a tout remis en ordre de marche. La maison est spacieuse et bien Ă©quipĂ©e. Merci beaucoup.
