「Beautiful cabin! The area was very peaceful and people there were nice. Would definitely book again. 」

「Location was wonderful. Getting through the entrance gate was problematic. We needed help from the onsite manager who was very friendly and helpful. There was too much dust and cobwebs to give it a 5 star for cleanliness. The kitchen lacked some things we considered common and essential like salt and pepper. Paper products supplied were barely adequate.」

「Loved the yurt and all of the fun activities- perfect for my teenage boys. Driving was a bit tricky in a minivan. Would love to return but it is pricey for the area.」

「Beautiful property and fantastic host!」

「Great location for historic sites or Shenandoah national park. Host is very responsive, great spot with plenty to keep you busy when you've finished for the day. Great set of games, pool, ping pong, puzzles, arcade games, snacks, coffee. Enjoyed the stay and will be back if we're in the area.」

「The cabin was perfect for an overnight stay. It was so secluded and the woods were beautiful. We were able to walk to the winery/brewery down the road and spent a lovely night by the fire. We were comfortable sleeping in the cabin with the windows open. The farm was very cool although the llama (alpaca?) didn't seem to like me :) The owner was amazing and went above and beyond when we left something behind. Would definitely recommend as a unique overnight stay. 」

「The cabin was cozy, private, and clean. We enjoyed spending time inside, offline, and fishing in the nearby pond. It's a great home base for enjoying Shenandoah and near excellent hiking routes. It was a great stay. 」

「This property was an amazing stay. Peaceful, quiet and very relaxing. Be prepared for an adventurous off road experience to reach the cabin. We loved every minute of our trip. The only downside of our stay was several ( at least 5) wasps nests on the house which made entering and exiting the home challenging. The host did respond to my message about the wasps and stated she would be dealing with them. Overall an amazing property and great for a vacation. 」

「Property was very picturesque with fantastic views and the Appalachian Trail is within walking distance. Very restful and rejuvenating atmosphere…plenty of peace and quiet and local wildlife. The hosts were wonderful and very helpful. This place was everything I expected and more. Would definitely return to visit again! 」

「Fantastic stay for Shenandoah hikes. Make sure to shop before hand because grocery and gas are quite far, but the property is beautiful and has many little critters running about near the main clubhouse (i.e., kitties of many kinds and a massive duck as well). The grill is a George Forman but it still worked as well as we needed for basic hot dog and burgers for dinner. Overall great experience and will absolutely book again if we return for more hiking!」

「Cabin was very cozy with comfy beds and furniture. We blocked the spiral staircase to keep the dogs safe. We enjoyed the deck, and spent time in Shenandoah National Park. We visited the clay festival. Great weather! Nice visit!」

「We took our 18 yr old here on a trip of Virginia and NC. This house was perfectly located for the hikes and tubing activities we wanted to do. Skyline drive was cool even though it was foggy and drizzling on and off all day. Into Charlottesville one day for tubing on Rivanna river. So glad we have the washer and dryer. Super clean and had extra things like kleenex, coffe and shampoo. Really felt like home. 」
