Comfy, clean and great location!

Loved this place, very new, clean, comfortable, well appointed kitchen and plenty of towels! Beautiful beachfront and awesome deck!! Great place for us! We'll be back!

Great location and perfect for families

Great location in Rockaway! Perfect walk to the beach - great setup for families. Just wish there were 3 king size beds when traveling with multiple sets of couples and kiddos. There were 5 adults and 3 kids in our group and it was plenty of space for all of us!

Great location and access to the beach

The house could need more cleaning as I’ve seen multiple roaches in the pantry. Also the houses are not stocked with supplies like coffee (pods or powder). It looks like it is Vacasa’s policy to only provide starters kit with one coffee pod and all coffee appliances but we should carry the coffee powder or pods. I was not aware of this policy. Other than that, everything else is great with the place. Excellent location and very easy access to secluded beach. We really enjoyed our stay and the great sunsets that we can watch right from the house.

Lovely Stay

We enjoyed our stay here with family. We had some problems after checking in (shelves were hanging off the wall and needed maintenance, smoke detector batteries needed changing, one smoke detector wasn’t attached and in the pantry. We noticed some areas in various rooms were missed by the cleaners. We were more vigilant with a crawling baby. Some stains in the carpets. Some used tissues and crumbs under the bunk beds. The basketball game in the garage needs some repairs, and some handles are coming loose in bathrooms. Vacasa responded immediately to assist. We learned maintenance is only called if things are reported. The cleaning service doesn’t report these things. Overall though, the kitchen was stocked for adults and kids! The living quarters and bathrooms were great! We loved being on the beach. The game room was great for the babies. We loved the fireplace at night and sitting out on the deck! Would definitely stay again. Likely helpful if maintenance team can check in more often to see if things need to be addressed if the cleaning service doesn’t report. The listing should mention there are beach towels and some beach toys for kids :) we packed that because we didn’t know. There’s only k cup coffee enough for the first day, Not the whole stay.

Beautiful home

- [ ] Fire alarms kept chirping, needed new batteries. We called and was told she sent a message to the local team. We spoke to her again about 45 min. Let her know that we disconnected the alarm to get it to stop. No one ever called us back or came to replace batteries. - [ ] When we turned the fan on in bedroom, it smoked and caused fire alarm to go off. Once unplugged it was ok. Then that fire alarm started chirping saying the battery was low. - [ ] We wanted to use the bbq, but there was no propane - [ ] Plenty of towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, dishwasher pods - [ ] Nice directions for use of coffee maker and keurig - [ ] Would have been nice to have basic directions on washer and dryer - [ ] Breaker kept tripping, causing living room and master bedroom outlets to not work - [ ] Because of breaker tripping. We figured out that smoke alarms are forced to use backup batteries, which is why two were chirping. We also noticed one bedroom didn’t have an alarm. - [ ] Loved patio furniture - [ ] Tv remote batteries were all dying - [ ] Basketball game did not have batteries-which is fine, but letting us know they need AA would be helpful. - [ ] The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, but would have been nice if there were smaller cereal bowls.

Vacation

This is a great location for a beach stay any time of the year. The house was very clean and well laid out. The views from the main living areas are breathtaking. The house is nicely set up for a family vacation with a TV room, plenty of games for kids young and old. Thank you for sharing!

Beautiful modern beach house

This house is modern, clean, on the beach and can accommodate a couple of families with room to hang out together or chill in your own space. There is direct beach access and the town is cute and just down the road. Definitely would stay again!

One of the best!!

I have stayed at a LOT of vacation rentals, but this was one of the best rentals we have stayed at. The property was gorgeous and the view was spectacular. I will definitely be booking this one again.
