Our stay overall was good. A few issues after getting there:
- Lockbox was very hard to find in the dark as it was located on a porch pillar under a big bush. There was no T-Mobile cell service in the town so I had to borrow my friends phone with AT&T service to contact the homeowner. Luckily the general store owner saw us from her house parked with the lights on. She came over and helped us get in with a spare key that she had.
- A/C was a listed ammenity but, there was only one window unit in one bedroom. The whole house did not have A/C. This should be pointed out so Summer residents know what they're dealing with.
- Bathroom: the sink was stained from the well water and should be cleaned or replaced and the shower is only a handheld type since the bathtub was an older claw foot iron tub. Very traditional since the house was old but again, it should be listed accurately so residents know what to expect
- Without A/C in the whole house, the place was extremely humid after a couple of showers.
- Minor detail but, there was no driveway. We were told to park on the grass in front of the garage.
- The rest of the place was as advertised so the home was enjoyable outside of the issues listed above. A lot of character since it was an older construction.
