"Beatiful ranch setting with all the amenities for a quiet and relaxing stay. Best of all was the dog friendliness. Just a great place, nice lodge, spacious accommodation, and a terrific vibe. Cheers. "

"Amenities were scored low because of the renovations. However, they also had sister hotels guests could access if they really wanted to soak in a hot tub or hit a close restaurant.
We have been staying in the newer side of the hotel since it opened. While there were a few room hiccups when it opened, those were all sorted out.
What struck me on this trip was that even though the rooms have been open for quite a few years now, they are still really well maintained. Nothing is broken and they maintain rooms to the same level as pre-Covid. So many hotels we stay at have cut corners like cheaper shampoos or making up rooms on a daily basis. The perks that make you feel like you are on vacation. Forest Park hasn’t made these same concessions. I would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Jasper."
"Courteous staff that work efficiently at check in and check out. Very enchanting hot tub with a cave and basin feel. Rooms are extremely small with two double beds that barely fit in the room. Inconvenient not to have a mini fridge in the room. It was nice to have a small fitness rook but the floors look rather dirty. We would stay again but only for a good price. "
"I highly suggest staying somewhere else.
• The key cards stopped working frequently. During our stay, we had to get new cards 4 times... the lobby was often full of people experiencing the same issue. The staff let us know that if the cards were close to a cell phone, they would stop working. Very inconvenient.
• There was a fire in the laundry room. Our room was quite filled with smoke. The hallway was extremely smokey. Lots of coughing / feeling sick (we had our patio open to mitigate it). We were quite concerned at the amount of smoke in the building, and that none of the fire alarms were activated. Some of the other guests alerted the staff. The staff placed a fan in the hallway to clear out some of the smoke.
• the cleanliness was rough. There were dirty dishes in the room that were left from the last guests. The tub was very gross and there was a ton of hair and gunk built up in the dryer. Everything was quite dusty and the coffee table was falling apart.
• the building is quite dated and in poor condition. It has quite a noticeable smell to it.
• garbages were not changed and we did not see any staff cleaning at any point. The indoor playground was very dusty and did not appear to be well maintained or cleaned.
• open fire places with a stack of wood next to it (and paper). No fire extinguishers anywhere.

"Great staff. Clean room. The Keg being attached to the hotel was handy. Room service was great, as they delivered a couple of meals in a timely manner. Very friendly. Had a great hot stone massage at the spa. Very clean spa and contentious RMT."
"The room was large & comfortable. The mountain view from the balcony was gorgeous. The hot pools on the roof were amazing & the perfect way to relax after hiking & skiing. Suddenly Sally had great food & cocktails with excellent deals at happy hour. "
