“We very much enjoyed our stay. The grounds are terrible. Lots and lots of flower pots with dead plants. Free breakfast at Their bakery and restaurant in town was a plus. ”

“Discovered and Booked reservation day before. Arrived a little before 8PM nNday of stay. Staff checked us in with little fanfare. Explained everything about the place and where to get everything we needed for a comfortable evening. We wished we had more time to stay and take it full advantage of the place. We woke up and seeing horseback rides being done around the place. We left around 9AM so we could get to our next destination on a much longer trip. This may be a longer stay next trip. ”

“The riverside location is perfect! The on-site restaurant was closed for remodeling but there were plenty of places within walking distance. The beds were comfortable enough, but WHY ARE THEY SO FRIGGIN' HIGH OFF THE FLOOR?!! :-)”

“The history of this hotel is fascinating enough, but the service, amenities and rooms were fantastic. Right downtown, walking distance to everything. The restaurant was great as well! Our queen room was on the smaller side - no closet, dresser - and you could fall into bed from the doorway. But! It was an amazing experience because of the history of the hotel. A lot to do around town plus you can take a 20 minute drive to go see the pig races which were entertaining to say the least. We will be……
