Perfect family vacation

Great place right on the beach

Our family had a wonderful time! The place was clean and well-stocked. We loved the coffee set-up, the pool table, the hot tub. Host was responsive with any questions. Even though it was a bit chilly while we were there, the beautiful views meant we could enjoy our stay even while just hanging out inside.

Gorgeous house right on the beach

We stayed here with family members aged 11-80 and found this house to be wonderful. It’s just as advertised - a perfect location, right on the beach. It has everything you could need on vacation. The house is in beautiful condition and owners are very responsive. You won’t regret staying at this house.

Awesome house for multi-generational family!

The Wave House was the perfect pick for our family vacation. We came from 6 states with ages 2 through 91! The house had everything we needed to feel right at home. We cooked every day and had everything we needed.The elevator was enjoyed by all. We are especially appreciative of the pier passes! Brian checked in often to make sure everything was good and he was extremely responsive to any questions we had. I would highly recommend a stay at the Wave House!!

Phenomenal oceanfront paradise

This oceanfront home was amazing and came with all conveniences and necessities. All descriptions and photos fully accurate. The owners were the most responsive and helpful out of all the years we’ve been renting! Check in and check out was seamless. The elevator going to each level was a big bonus. I would highly recommend this beautiful home. You will not be disappointed.

This house is amazing and has everything one would need. 2 Families, 8 people total had more than enough room for everyone. Rodanthe is away from the crowds and the beach (at your doorstep) is the opposite of crowded. Great Beach Vacation!!!

Excellent beach house

This is the perfect beach house. Every bedroom has a bathroom. There is an elevator which was perfect for aging parents and also just to carry luggage and groceries up and down. We enjoyed the game room, the bicycles, the beach chairs and the beach access, just to name a few. Also, the proximity to the pier is ideal when you have a group of fisherman. Highly recommended this vacation home!

We can’t say enough about how magical our stay was at this oceanfront property. Perfect Wave

The experience could not have been better. Right on the beach, kitchen is fully equipped with nice dishes and cooking supplies. Nice and comfortable beds. Linens and towels were good Plenty of toys and chairs for the beach with a wagon. Easy access to utilize the beach and pool. Couldn’t ask for a better location or stocked house. We wouldn’t have changed or added a thing to it. Truly a perfect vacation home.

Ocean side luxury

Our multi generation family week was at this spectacular house with tremendous views of the beach and ocean from the 3 levels of decks. The rooms were comfortable and professionally furnished. The ensuites and elevator made it so comfortable for our 90 year old mother and the rest of us. We loved gathering in the oceanside top level kitchen for breakfast and lingering over coffee on the deck. The owner was extremely helpful with recommendations and any questions at all, he responded right away. The house was well stocked with all the basics and good quality kitchen items. We left with happy memories.

Fabulous beach house

Loved the house and the location! We had plenty of room for our two families and especially enjoyed dinners together at the huge dining table. We cooked some delicious seafood a couple of nights from Austin’s Seafood Market that was close by. The chairs on the back decks were perfect for relaxing and watching the waves roll in. This house includes everything you need for a great beach vacation without having to pack a lot of extra stuff. We especially appreciated the extra household supplies that were provided (paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, etc.) and the beach equipment. Rodanthe area was great - not too crowded but an easy drive to other more touristy areas when we wanted to do those things. Highly recommend this house and would love to go back again sometime!

Great Time

The house worked very well our family. It was great to have the house on the beach with the pool so we could enjoy both easily. There were a couple of items in the house not working which I reported. Dining table light, several light bulbs and a bedroom ceiling fan to name a few. The kitchen sink was also leaking which I reported…as non urgent. Overall we had a wonderful stay and the house worked really well for all of us and we had a great family week!! Thank you!

Wave House Review

The interior of the house is very nice, kitchen is well stocked, laundry room was very nice and the beach access easy. The only negatives were: the beds were hard, the photo of the outside exterior storage room, grill and bikes is dated. The storage room was a mess, the bikes very rusted but usable and the pool was very sandy. We paid for the heating of the pool and it wasn’t warm. The owner credited my account right away and gave us credit for a pizza dinner. All in all it was nice. A few tweaks on the cleaning and maintaining of the property would help.

Relaxing Getaway

Our family had a wonderful time at The Wave house. Everything is top quality. The kitchen is perfect to cook in. Lots of utensils, pans, spices, dishes, and glassware. The elevator works perfectly and is needed! The furniture is very stylish and comfortable and it was great being able to sit together at the dining table to eat and play games. The bedding & towels are nice quality. It was so nice not having to pack paper products, trash bags, or detergents. Loved the large TVs in bedrooms and living room. Home is very well laid out. The views are incredible and the outdoor furniture was great quality. The only let down were the mattresses and pillows. We like firmer mattresses and fuller pillows. House was very clean also. We really enjoyed our stay. Easy check in and check out. You will not be sorry if you rent this home!

Stop looking and choose this one!

April 2024 We had the entire family here. Grandparents, parents, children and couldn’t have asked for more. Large beautiful home with two kitchens, a game room, a pool, a hot tub, bikes, sand toys, beach chairs, boogie boards, baskets of beach towels and a wide variety of cooking utensils, dishes and even coffee and spices. Take your cloths, food and sunscreen and have an amazing time in this house right on the beach. Very clean with two washers and two dryers for your convenience! Host was incredibly responsive with questions and even offered us advice on where to go for the best seafood. We have never stayed at a rental with more to offer than this one. Many many extras to the point where if they didn’t have it we didn’t need it. Plenty of bang for your buck. We hope to go back again soon.

The beach house made amazing memories

We are five sisters that stayed at the house. The house is huge and had enough room for 20+. The elevator was a game changer! The house is beautiful and clean, and the kitchen had every appliance and gadget you can think of plus more. There was a great library with lots of books for different interest and lots of information about Rodanthe and the Outer Banks. Brian, the host was very attentive and quick to respond with any question or concern we had. He gave great suggestions on places to visit and places to eat. The hot tub was big enough for all five of us and we shared a lot of laughs there. All of the beds were comfortable and the linens and towels were first class. Everything you could possibly need for the beach was there Including beach chairs, bikes, games… We would all highly recommend this property and can see ourselves visiting again.

Dream Vacation

Beachfront was clean and water was wonderful! The house was beautifully decorated and the furniture from beds to couches to balcony chairs was comfortable. Lighting was excellent in all areas inside and out. The pool and pool area were clean and easy to walk on. The elevator was so convenient for moving in and out and for allowing my husband access to the whole house. We loved the pool table, too! Thanks, Brian, for everything. I would be back tomorrow if I could. Loved your suggestions and the wonderful guide that we downloaded. Used that everyday. Loved that we could go to the pier free of charge. With the nine of us there, the kitchen was well-used. Everything we needed was there. Many games and books were available. And all the beach equipment was so convenient! Many thanks. Paradise

Well where do I start. Paradise!!!!!!! From the moment we pulled in to your driveway to the moment we pulled out was pure paradise. My family and I were in awe!!! The weather was amazing and the views will be unforgettable. This was our first family vacation in years and we could not have picked a more beautiful spot. The Wavehouse was perfect for the kids who loved spending a week in such a beautiful home. Everything and I mean everything needed was there. Every room was spotless and your towel supply for the pool and beach was great. The beach chairs came in handy and they were used often to sit on the beach. Beds were comfortable and thank you for all the pillows. We all slept like babies…. Speaking of babies, the pack and play for my grandson who is 1 was perfect. The kitchen was my wife’s dream kitchen….. she could not get over the view while doing dishes. Dishes, pots and pans, baking trays and glassware unbelievable. The fireplace and hot tub so beautiful and relaxing in the evenings. I can’t say enough about your beautiful home and accommodations, my family a I thank you and your family for a wonderful experience and making our family vacation so very special. Beach view from top floor was great. Ac was plenty cold. Parking was hazardous not enough room to maneuver the vehicles. Elevator was a great asset since some of us were elderly and a lot of help getting luggage and groceries to the kitchen and back down when we were leaving. Having the personal items provided was great. Our stay was great and we would recommend the Wave House highly
