Rogues Weekender - right on the beach

Welcome and thanks for looking at my small but humble and comfortable little holiday home. Located at Rogues Point on the Yorke Peninsula being an easy drive from Adelaide, just metres from the ocean and a boat ramp at the end of our beach.
Ardrossan is only five minutes by car with two good hotels for a counter meal and a drink, the local Foodland has everything you will need along with a chemist, liquor and hardware store, butcher plus a bakery in town as well.

Our holiday home is small but cosy, featuring two bedrooms with queen size beds, one bathroom, kitchen with a side by side refrigerator and filtered water and ice maker, Nespresso coffee machine (please BYO coffee pods), an eat in dining area located to the side of the kitchen and a comfortable lounge area with a large flat screen TV. There is a reverse Cycle air con unit plus ceiling fans. Pillows, blankets, quilts towels and linen provided, car parking for four vehicles, outdoor BBQ plus dining setting overlooking the ocean available as well.

All guests are welcome to a complimentary late check out during off peak times (please confirm with owner), trained responsible pets allowed.

Please send an enquiry with dates. More inclusions possible including a 9am check in and a 4pm checkout but please message me first. I just spent the weekend of 15/16/17th August and there was no algae bloom visible or even signs of it being on our gorgeous little beach.

Great views from the front if the house,walking trails if thats what floats your boat. The weather was wild which added to the scenery lots of waves and high tides. Loved it.Well equipped kitchen, shower pressure great but could use an upgrade

Autumn stay

Second short stay at Rogues Weekender and we had a great time again. Wind and crashing waves one day, calm and beautiful sunny day the next. Joys of an autumn beach stay. Very comfortable and relaxing beach shack.

Great location but with issues with the property as well as provided utensils

Apologies for this poor review, but this is the honest experience.Great location, but property in general and kitchen ware/utensils were quite dirty/dusty/sticky & oily. Many spider webs in the property.No exhaust fan in the shower area nor above the electric stove.Found dead insects on shelves, used Band-Aid on the floor, dust everywhere and unpleasant scent in the house.Very old property, needs a lot of TLC as there are broken window seals, unsafe steps & hazardous rugs.

We were happy with our stay it is right on the beach ..kitchen is well equipped...nice big fridge ...comfy beds however some power points were blanked off as not working no light in bathroom (broken) crab cooker in poor condition overall we enjoyed the 2 nights we had there crabbing was good but crab cooker in back yard in poor condition but would still recommend the stay there

5 out of ten for Stayz staff: 1 was hard to understand and 1 was brilliant. 10 out of 10 for property owner: he was very easy to communicate with and he had a very good back up person. (Many thanks) Location: very good nice little beach. Supplied linen clean:Property itself was very very dirty, all crockery and cutlery had to be washed before being used, ceiling fans were caked in dirt, mats were very stained, windows havn't been cleaned in goodness knows how long, cupboards were in need of a good wash inside and out (mice droppings in drawers) Blinds were sticky with built up dirt and grease from cooking, food left in fridge which I am assuming was from previous tenants, lounge and cushions were pretty grotty, Bathroom not real clean.lots of cleaning required to rectify the many neglected areas of this place.Barbecue was unusable it was really really filthy, table in enclosed front area was filthy and yard is in need of some TLC also back furniture (tables and chairs ) too dirty to use. However, air conditioner works, good fridge water pressure good, TV good. This property could be really nice to stay in if it were not for its cleanliness and I feel for the owner who pays for a cleaner who really is not doing a very good job.Without prejudice,Raelene

Fabulous location

A wonderful location in a traditional beachfront shack! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Wonderful breezes, and lots to do. Owners were great to communicate with and we would love to go back for a longer time.
