The staff at Argentina Residenza Style Hotel were knowledgeable, helpful and always quick to respond to email inquiries. I set up two nights in Rome for my daughter and her friends and their flight got in at 3am - they helped with setting up transportation, making sure someone was available for check-in and allowing them to leave their bags the last day to be able to sightsee and catch a late train out to Florence! The girls loved their room and said it was clean and beautiful and in a great location to walk to so many things. Thank you!!

We were sent to the annex building even though we didn’t know that was what we had booked through Expedia as it lacked that description. For 3 nights in a row, we had people screaming and yelling and chanting all night outside our window. It was still going on even until 4:30am! At first we were hoping it would stop but on the third night, we had to call the reception to ask for help, and were told that was “normal”. Since we had to deal with jet lag and then all these rude screaming made it worse, my immune system was down and I got sick. I had to call the reception to plead them to call the police to assist with this out of control situation. At first we were patient thinking it was just a different culture but then when it went on all night without curtesy or regards to anyone’s well-being, our frustration grew and we had to ask for assistance to inform the police. On the fourth and last night in Rome we were asked if we wanted to change room, and by that time the police probably had been informed. We had to leave early in the morning and to deal with a building or room change would be too exhausting.

Beautiful hotel, staff were so friendly and helpful. We were upgraded due to celebrating a special occasion which was incredible, the room was spotless & comfortable and the extra touches were lovely. The location of the hotel is great too, close to all transport links and so many cafes/bars very close by.

I was genuinely looking forward to this stay, which made the experience even more disappointing. Our suite was located in a separate building next door rather than in the main hotel — something that was not clearly stated on Expedia at the time of booking and only communicated at check-in. That lack of transparency immediately changed the tone of our stay. If a room is in a different building, this should be clearly disclosed upfront so guests can make an informed decision. Unfortunately, the welcome did not help set a positive tone either. The front desk associate was not very warm or welcoming, which made the check-in feel transactional rather than hospitable. While the room itself had potential, the cleanliness was unacceptable. The floors were visibly dirty and dusty, as if they had not been properly swept. The walls had noticeable stains, which was honestly off-putting. The entrance to the secondary building also felt unclean and poorly maintained. Overall, it did not meet basic cleanliness standards. We asked about an upgrade to the main building or a higher floor, but it was fully booked. As someone who truly values the full hotel experience — the ambiance, the service, and the feeling of being immersed in the property — I didn’t feel like we were part of the hotel at all. It felt detached and below the standard I expected. I’m sure the rooms in the main building may offer a stronger experience, but based on this stay, I would not choose to return.
