The only thing good about this property was its central location. Other than that, this was the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel.
1. Upon arriving, there was an overwhelming terrible smell. It seems that this "spa" hotel sprays a "spa" scent that smelled terrible. Every time I came back to the hotel I gagged and had to plug my nose. Luckily the smell was not as strong in the room as it was in the halls/stairwell.
2. The check-in room is in what appears to be an old closet. Didn't affect the stay but gives you an idea of the type of hotel this is. This is NOT luxury.
3. My fault for not reading the description better, but there is NO shower. Only a jet bath tub. The water would only get luke warm, it did not get hot.
4. You need to put your key card by the doorway to activate the electricity (standard). However, one time we came back to the room and even with the key card, we have no electricity in our room. We went down to the front desk and they were able to fix it by resetting the circuit breaker in our room.
5. Air conditioning did not work in the room. It would turn on, then off right away.
6. The hotel staff had to enter our room 2x to reset circuit breakers...not sure if it was because the main circuit breaker was in our room or what, but it had nothing to do with our room - sounds like the hotel was experiencing electrical issues.
7. The TV did not work (smart TV, but not connected to Wifi).
8. Pictures did NOT match the hotel. It was dingy and old
