There were 4 of us and had booked a double bed with 2 singles. We received a king with one single. The single was a pull out from a lounge chair. Mattress not comfortable. They had to bring up another bed. We did ask for another mattress which they brought. Our room was under restaurant. We heard chairs being moved around. Was in a nice area. We felt safe walking around even at night. Staff were friendly.

In a word: flawless. The staff was always friendly and helpful; the room was lovely; the bar and restaurant were clean and attractively decorated. We loved the lavish breakfast buffet (included). The hotel was recommended by friends as a good place to stay in "normal Rome," away from the tourist centers, and it is that, yet it's a nice walk (less than 30 minutes) to the Borghese Gallery and the huge park containing it, and a short Uber ride to the Vatican, St Peter's and other major tourist sites.

We spelt 3 nights before our Globus tour started. Property looks good but is far away from the Roma center of the action. Breakfast is good. Staff attitude and helpfullness is a mixed bag. Our # 85 room was very small, forcing you to walk like an Égyptian to get into the bed. Bed quality was very good. Bathroom was also very small and the shower was designed for small people as well. Although there was a coffee machine, your allowance will be pods, no matter how long you stay!! Extra pods are for sale @ Eur 1.5 each. We never experienced this in hotels of this price range. Are we booking this hotel again or recommending it? No.

We loved the hotel and it was very convenient to visit with our family. Only thing our room was smallish and had two steps in it, not too safe since we are seniors. Looking at our reservation I later realized that we had booked and paid for a triple bedroom and that must have been bigger, but I should have said it right away! My fault...
