Beautiful location in the heart of Rome. Walking distance to the Collosseum, the Forum and the Trevi fountain, etc. Classic boutique hotel in antique style adds to the experience. Unfortunately a lot of construction going on in the neighborhood around the hotel. And the A/C in the room didn’t work properly.

The hotel is convenient to everything! Right next to the forum, 5 minutes walk to Colosseum and 10 minutes walk to downtown. There are lot of good classic Italian restaurants in footsteps. The stuff are very friendly. Their cleaning crew are very nice and responsive. They found my son’s necklace in the room and returned to us after we checked out! We definitely will stay there again!

This was my fourth stay at the Hotel. I am always welcomed and if you are into being near historical sights, there is no better location. It is a modest and clean hotel with an excellent rooftop bar with friendly servers and a magnificent view of the forum. The breakfast is excellent and the restaurant is very good. The location is near various bars and restaurants as well. The only downside this trip was that the room air conditioning was overwhelmed by the extreme heat in August. A fan placed in our room by the staff compensated well for this issue. This is my place in Rome and I doubt I would stay anywhere else. I highly recommend this hotel without reservation. Enjoy!

2nd time 4 years apart bc I liked the location, but the only complains both time the complain about plumbing, the first time the shower didn’t work properly, room on the 2nd floor, this time the bathroom door did not close at all, no extractor or ventilation on it and the toilet didn’t flush at once, I stayed in the room bc I traveled with my daughter and she preferred to stay bc if the city view but it was a little uncomfortable.

Nous avons reçu un accueil 5 étoiles. Le staff est très professionel et toujours disponible. Le restaurant sur le toit a une vue incroyable et notre serveur nous a servi en français toute la soirée, très apprécié. Excellent buffet déjeuner. Apéro sur un autre partie du toi avec un staff super. Nous y retournerons et le recommanderons à tous nos amis. Cet hôtel nous a beaucoup rappelé le "Fairmont à Banff" de par son staff et de son décor luxueux à l'intérieur. Juste parfait!! Et situé en plein centre des ruines et à quelques pas du Collisé.

Fantastic hotel! Great location: right next to Forum and minute walk to the colosseum. Nice shopping nearby. The staff were very helpful as well, arranging taxis and private transfers. The food at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was great! The best part is the rooftop bar! Great strong drinks reasonable priced with a fantastic view!!

Very nice older hotel in a fantastic location. The staff is very friendly, hotel and rooms are clean. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is due to the air conditioning. Outside temps were around 98F, and our air cond. couldn't keep up. Either under sized or in need of maintenance. We had two rooms; the room for our adult children was very cool but ours was not. The staff provided a fan which helped, but just. Despite the air cond. issue, I highly recommend this hotel.
