The hotel is very close to the Vatican and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and the staff was helpful and friendly.

Our stay at the Mascherino Suites was wonderful! A team member reached out to us and waited for our arrival. The Service was great and the room was very clean! We would not recommend bringing a rental car to this location. Parking spaces are extremely difficult to find. Walking and/or Transit options were great.

andrew is great
Andrew is a great host, he is very helpful , but the hotel is apt complex on 3rd floor , so he needs a numbered key box where he can keep the keys and then he can send the code to the guest to retrieve keys like air bnb. but the service is really great - overall , very nice place

Only had one night here but I would stay for much longer. Great location with plenty of dining options within walking distance. A short walk to Vatican City...maybe two blocks. The rooms appear to have been recently updated and had everything I needed. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff and had a change to speak to one of the owners when I was checking out. I look forward to staying here again.

The information on Expedia said the desk was staffed 24/7. There was only someone there for a few hours in the afternoon. Luckily the housekeeper was still there when we arrived from our early flight or we might have been sitting at the building entrance for hours in order to leave our luggage.

Hi Judith, the reception is open from 2 pm to 9 pm, as explained. in the morning there is the cleaning lady, and for any emergence we can open any door via internet. So you do not have to wait outside.

Clean and spacious room with modern shower and air conditioning (needed as we visited in summer). Owners are accommodating and kind. Very close to Vatican City! and close to the streets with tons of restaurants and cafes (all well priced). Recommend and I would stay again! Also not a far walk to main Rome (25 mins or so).

We asked for parking garage around and staff said that there is none around but we found garage to park our car right next door. The window of the room was broken and wasn’t closing. I called staff to the room and she couldn’t close the window and she said that she will tell owner but no one ever came in. During the check out I told them about the window and lady kept arguing that she was there and was able to close it. We never saw this lady until the day of the check out. Overall not very happy with their service.

Everything the staff is awesome I have to give Jeanne an A . She was very helpful on give me directions. The location is close to the Vatican and the tour buses to take you around the city. Keep up the good work

Overall good property. Not exactly a hotel, but it had cleaning services and breakfast at a price. Bed was not comfortable because the mattress was too firm.

The room was tidy and clean and was spacious for two people .The staff were brilliant and helped with everything that we asked .It is located in a good area for restaurants and there are shops and good transportation They could maybe leave more coffee or tea and maybe a vending machine for water snacks etc but this is minor issue

Excellent location, really friendly and helpful staff, spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed and pillows, good shower (with mood lighting!). Quirky lift up to the apartment. Very handy for transport and restaurants. Would stay again. Great base for visiting Rome.

Great newly remodeled Hotel inside an older building. Our only complaint was that we were on the 3rd floor and the old elevator was not working for most of our stay. Climbing stairs when you’re a senior with luggage was very hard.

We had a nice stay at Mascherino Suites. Staff was helpful with our late flight into Rome. They assisted with airport transportation and were kind enough to check us in after midnight. Clean, quiet and comfortable room.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral und bietet in unmittelbarer Umgebung: Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Lebensmittel & Shopping) Bushaltestelle und auch eine Metrostation. Es wäre super wenn im Zimmer noch ein Mülleimer platziert werden würde. Es steht nur ein kleiner im Bad.

Room itself is ok.. walls thin - REALLY loud at night - you can hear everything 😳 we were charged for damage that we did not do …. No discussion … no reasonable discussion … he took 150Euro out of my account without my consent… the manager IS THE RUDEST DISRESPECTFUL MAN I HAVE EVER MET… terrible.... AVOID THIS PLACE … please book somewhere else!!! Do not stay at this hotel - the manager charged us for breaking the window lock. Of course we did not break the window lock. We didn’t even touch the window lock. Without any discussion he took €150 out of our bank account. We are absolutely disappointed with this accommodation. Please listen to me people do not stay here under any circumstances do not stay here … it is so loud you cannot sleep …you can hear everybody as though they were in the room with you …find alternative accommodation… the manager is very frightening very aggressive.

Great location but for the money didn’t really come up to scratch. Not really a hotel but a group of rooms. When we arrived it was difficult to get in the building. Fortunately someone else arrived and were more persistent with knocking! Room was spacious and clean but no bin and tv not tuned in.

The rooms are large, airy, bright with big windows. They are right by the Vatican. The staff are very helpful and polite. We found it very clean and would stay again. It's not a full hotel, but is perfect as a city break stay. Breakfast was included from 0800-1000.

Highly recommended. This is not a hotel, it’s on the third floor of a residential building. Suites are private and clean. I was skeptical at first because this is not your normal hotel setting or hotel experience. Very close to the Vatican situated between St Peters Basilica and the Vatican museums. Conveniently located across the street from a taxi stand with multiple dining and shopping options. If you’re an American traveling alone, this is the place. Would be great for couples too. I would definitely stay here again, very easy to navigate the checkin process and I felt very safe. Give it a try.

Enjoyed our stay here. Nice location, vast selection of restaurants within a 5 minute walk. A bit more of a walk into the main area of Rome where the popular attractions are (bar the Vatican which is 2 minutes away) but an extremely pleasant one. A metro station is only a few minutes away if required however didn’t seem to be running when we were there. The place itself was clean and quiet, housekeeping was efficient and our waters/coffees an toiletries in the room would always be replenished while we were out which was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend.
