Perfect Choice

This is a newly updated apartment in a safe neighborhood, near shops and restaurants and within walking distance of many sites such as the Colosseum. Our driver said that it is in one of the best neighborhoods of Rome. The apartment was in perfect condition and very comfortable. I recommend it and would stay there again in the future.

Very nice apartment but a few things you should know

Very nice apartment close to places to eat and easy to get to attractions. Apartment was clean and newly updated. Pictures are similar to what this apartment looks like and how it is furnished but only a few of the pictures are actually of this apartment. There are multiple apartments in this building so I am assuming pictures are an accumulation of all the units. Apartment is on 4th floor and has a small lift which was nice for luggage. One of the rooms along street side does not have very good AC and was very hot. We expressed this concern and we were told that it was on its lowest setting. Orlando met us at appartment and was very friendly and helpful. Gave good recommendations and arranged transportation to airport for the end of our stay. Unlike most units on VRBO, this property management company does NOT go through VRBO for payment. I was very surprised when I recieved a phone call from an Italian number asking for me to give my credit card info over the phone. I called VRBO before I did this and confirmed they do not process payments for this unit. I had to call back to pay the next day. I requested a receipt be sent to me and it never came. I found the property management company online, and sent an email to the address listed on their website asking for check in info right before we left for our trip to Italy and never received a response. Finally was able to speak with someone after having to call them the morning of our check in since I still had no info. I really wish there was better communication from the property management company. A confirmation email from them at time of booking would have been nice, an option to pay online would be great along with follow up emails with receipt and check in info. Overall we were very pleased with apartment but just wish property management company did a better job of communicating especially for this price.
