Perfect family home

Perfect family setting to go see our son at college. We enjoyed making a fire pit, going on long walks and it is close to everything we needed including Shorter University and Berry College. We will book again, 5 stars!

Beautifully decorated home with so many nice touches and clever storage ideas. Took many ideas back with us for our own home. All 4 bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Took advantage of the nice weather by enjoying the outdoor spaces. While it is in a neighborhood, there are a lot of undeveloped areas around the house making it feel very private even though you are right in town. It was a short walk to the park at the back of the neighborhood. We cooked a dinner while we were there and they had everything we needed plus a beautiful gas stove. I usually do not rent pet friendly homes because we rarely travel with a dog and I have allergies which certain breeds of dog can trigger. We did travel with a family member’s dog and I have to say the house was immaculately clean and I would not have know another dog had ever stayed there.

The experience was a very positive one beginning with when we walked in the door. There were lights on outside and also inside of every room making it easy to navigate and it felt very welcoming and homey as we first walked in. The furnishings throughout the home give it a cozy and warm feeling. Since I had to work, remotely, the little office tucked away at the end of the kitchen was perfect; the desk, the lighting, and the privacy. My husband noted a couple of things that were of minor concern: the hot water is HOT (we like it that way and were very pleased, but others may need to be warned); he thought the water pressure in the hall bathroom was not strong enough and he had no stopper to be able to fill the tub for a bath; there were no grab bars in the tub/shower area of the hall bathroom; there was no remote control for the TV in the master bedroom; and there are no handrails for the steps leading up to the outside of the house or along the porch. Again, these are minor things that did not pose a significant problem, just things he noticed. Otherwise, the place was great! The home is well kept, attractive, and the beds are VERY comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed and everything was in good working order. The host was very approachable and available (I felt so bad calling her on a Sunday evening because I got the Wi-Fi password wrong), but she was kind and helpful. I would highly recommend this place!
