We arrived at 9:45 pm, so 15 mins prior to the end of the check-in AND we send an eMail upfront, that said that we might be there just in time... But nobody opened us anymore...Expedia couldn't help either. Nice to be left alone in Rome on a saturday night and all hotels were booked out. Never again!

We left early...

It was quite dirty and run down. It also had a really strong smell in the room. Due to these factors we chose to leave in the middle of the night to find another hotel instead. That being said the pictures of the hotel are honest and given the low price it is probably fair value for money.

Keskeinen sijainti ja loistava hinta-laatusuhde, auttavainen henkilökunta ja studiossa on pääpiirteittäin kaikki, mitä saatat tarvita. Ainut miinus, että lämmitettyihin talviasuntoihin tottuneelle huone tuntuu kylmänkostealta (lämmitys päällä vain klo 20-24). Varaisin studion mielelläni uudestaan lämpimämpänä ajankohtana!

Non ci hanno fatto il check in...assurdo!abbiamo pagato 76 invece delle 62 da prenotazione..camere sporche e neppure una saponetta in bagno...oltre al cattivo odore...e nessuno alla nostra partenza.

è una cantina riadattata , ristrutturata in modo abbastanza moderno , ma la soluzione è molto basic . ho prenotato un " monolocale " che in realtà era una stanza di un b&b . Fortunatamente il soggiorno era molto breve , per cui non abbiamo avuto un grosso disagio , ma è comunque disdicevole descrivere in modo inesatto la sistemazione . L'odore di umidità è abbastanza forte , la colazione scandalosa . Il prezzo basso rispecchia le condizioni della soluzione : di basso livello . La connessione wi-fi è stata misteriosamente interrotta di notte , a nostra insaputa , quindi abbiamo perso importanti messaggi che presupponevamo di poter ricevere . abbiamo sostato nel b&b solo per dormire , quindi è come se il wi-fi non fosse presente .

Un très bon séjour puisque l'hôtel est proche de termini roma 15 min a pieds donc on a pu visiter Florence et retourner a l'hôtel dans le même jour

On nous a envoyé vers un autre site sans plus d'explication. Le Domus Romana qui est en dessous de tout,en plus il fallait payer en liquide. Nous n'avons pas passé une seule nuit.

Nunca lo habría cogido por ser SOTANO , tuve que pagar en metalico, y perdi varias horas en conseguir el dinero , no hay recepcion y es dificil encontrarlo , no tiene señalizacion , y la dueña no acepta ninguna queja

Bed and breakfast not too bad.

I seen much better in Italy. You have to cook your own food. There is no buffet in the morning unless you pay extra for cooked breakfast. It was cold in the room. Can't have good heat. The garbage was not empty (full of food from the last person). No curtain for the shower, no body soap and shampoo left from the owner. But the bed was comfortable. If you plan to pay you stay by credit card, you are screw because they only take cash, so I had to find a Bancomat and get money.

very bad

So bad. I told host the check-in time at the day's morning. When we arrived, nobody were there. She didn't see the mail.We waited for 1 hour! And the room was bad. Dirty coffee machine, not enough toilet paper, no sun light and very weak light, shower and wifi!! And the outside of the room was noisy so we couldn't sleep. The host and room were bad for us. You shouldn't stay there!!

from the picture, looks like included kitchen but no kitchen. also looks nice brakefast but not like that. you have to do that yourself. this accomodation is beside busy road. very noisy all nghit.

Une hôte tres accueillante et à l' écoute.ambiance

Un séjour réussi une hôte géniale et disponible .proximité des lieux touristiques.je le recommande en particulier le studio .charmant petite terrasse on avait l impression d etre comme à la maison.séjour réussi et à refaire.

Close to public transport stations, tram, metro and trains. Very good location. Rooms were good, comfortable and well decorated but cleaned only once for 4 days time that we stayed, ventilation is less but manageable as we didn't have to stay there all the time. Melanie was good host with the local guidance ,provided pick from airport, Thanks Alex! Breakfast was snacks and had to be self made. For the last day of the stay there was some problem with water supply, she shifted us to her friend's place. Very nice of her to have done this, appreciate it. The couple there were very warm and sweet.

a place to remember

Shiva b&b is a great place. Very central and easy to find. Near the central train station Termini and just 10 minutes walking away to the Colosseum. The room is very clean and comfortable with private bathroom and air conditioning. Melanie was a great host, very helpful and nice. Every morning there is a rich self service breeakfast. The wifi connection is avalaible for free. Next time i come back to Rome i will definitely come back to Shiva

Poor customer service but decent room

Difficult to locate-no signage. Nobody there to do check-in so I had to ask a neighnouring hotel to call on my behalf for assistance. Once I was checked in there was absolutely zero customer service. Nobody dropped in or called/emailed to see if everything was ok. It was a bed and breakfast and even after emailing the owners twice to inform them of my departure time there was no response. No breakfast was provided. The computer and printer did not work. The room itself however was clean and quaint and located close the main train terminal.

Cantina no grazie.

Le stanze sono in una cantina ristrutturata che però puzza di muffa. Poca luce. Colazione ridicola al self service con marmellata ammuffita e pacchetti di biscotti aperti. Mai visto niente del genere.
