The place isn’t an hotel, is just an apartment with a few bedrooms and the kitchen is shared by everyone. If you need to warm up your food or some milk for you or your children is no way because the place doesn’t have a microwave available just a kettle for hot water. But the place is okay for the price. The clean the floors and changed the bins bags every day and they changed our bed sheets after 3 days. The are is okay as well, is a few places where you can eat and supermarket. Is easily accessible to Vatican as well and you have a bus stop in front of the building. We like it and the staff was okay.
Contacting the host was a nightmare. We got there late afternoon and I attempted three numbers before I got a hold of the host.
Host did not speak well english which is totally understandable but upon communication, she seemed agitated and frustrated. AC did not work. No microwave or stove top. Sheets and towels were not replaced. Limited supplies to soap and shampoo ,etc.
I would say the location is conveniently located to Vatican and bus stops and other supermarkets. But, this comes with a down side of lots of noise.
We had an easy check in and the host was so helpful as it was raining. The rooms were clean comfortable and surprisingly larger than expected. There was a comfortable well stocked communal kitchen. No stairs to carry bags up. The only issue was access to host. Sent several messages and tried knocking on the door to advise early check out. We couldn’t ring with our overseas phone .
It took an hour to get our bags checked (slow long line at Air Canada), so that added stress. Oncc we got through that, it went very smooth through Security and Customs. We grabbed a delicious snack and headed to our gate to board - no issues.

Disliked: Staff & service, room comfort
The hotel waa ok but the personel was not helpful.
Very clean, large bedrooms, well and nicely furnished. The location is not far from downtown: Piazza Venezia, Coliseum, Vatican, etc. (10-15 min. by bus). Free coffee, orange juice, etc. are available all day. Good internet. Above all, the personal is extremely nice and helpful & multi-multi lingual. Will give you good tips and can provide you with bus ticket, etc ...
Not our favorite stay. The bathroom stunk like sewage and would make the whole room stink if you didn’t keep the door shut. The bed was hard as rocks, I’m not sure if it was even a mattress because it was so flat and firm. The towel I went to use for a shower had long hairs on it when it should have been clean. There were questionable stains on the throw pillow for the bed as well. Not the worst place in the world, but we won’t go back.
It was ok, the staff that greeted us was terrible!! They advertise their kitchen as having snacks, they don’t, the faucets in the bathroom had rust on them. The zone is good since it has a taxi stop right by it, and a coffee shop called Ill Papagallo which was fantastic!!
I had to wait outside for an hour.
No one let us in!
It was a resident going in that finally let us into the property.
The host was not so friendly.
Finally it SHOULD NOT BE ADVERTISED AS A HOTEL, it is MISLEADING!
Checking in was very unpleasant. I was yelled at multiple times by the lady when trying to check in. I couldn’t understand her when she asked for the name of reservation so she yelled at me and when I told her that the door wouldn’t open after she told me it was opened, she yelled at me again. Then getting into the actual room was also a mess and complicated. On the door it says that the tourist tax was €3.50 per night per person, we received a paper saying it’s €7 per night then ended up getting charged €6 per night. You can also hear the other people as the walls are thin. Other than that, the room was clean but the bedding had a weird smell.

Disliked: Staff & service
When I checked in I was a required to call and as a tourist with an international SIM my phone wasn’t making outgoing calls so I had trouble reaching staff. There is no buzzer or anything to get into the building. The room was clean but the AC stopped working in the evening and every time I tried to turn it on it would make horrible clicking noises. The walls here are paper thin and the property is next to a major roadway so it’s extremely loud and you can’t sleep all night. Overall stay away do not recommend.
The worst hotel so far, Emanuela was one of the staff members and was just awful. This property was advertised as bed and breakfast, but no breakfast was provided, said that reception is at property form 9am-9pm, we arrived around 2pm and no one was there. We went out to explore the city, came back at 8pm and no one was there. In the kitchen, they have a signed that says, we were able to keep keys if luggage is left at property in the morning, when called Emanuela to confirmed, she expected us to leave luggage at property unattended and out in the kitchen even though there were other tenants in the same apartment with access to kitchen. Ineludible helpful and nice person was Rafael, he was nice enough to explain and allow us to take keys. Even thought it says that staff is onsite, do not expect them to be there, all communication was thru phone and WhatsApp only. Only time I saw Emanuela’s face was when we came back for check out. No document to sign just simply pay city tax but her attitude was incredibly rude. On website they mentioned Shuttle from and to airport for 15 euros per person, but when asked Emanuela told me 60 euros, but property sign says 50 eeuros. Called a Uber taxi and I was charged 45 euros. I definitely won’t come back would neither recommend this mess.
