Le stade des marbres (Photo panoramique) A gauche, le stade olympique ____________ Le Foro Italico, appelé dans les années 30, Foro Mussolini, est un grand ensemble de bâtiments et d'équipements sportifs. Sa construction a débuté à l'époque fasciste sous la direction de l'architecte Enrico Del Dubbio. Le Foro a été inauguré en 1932. A l'entrée, un obélisque en marbre dédié à Mussolini a été érigé. Le stade des marbres est l'équipement le plus célèbre avec ses 60 statues d'athlètes à l'antique, placées au-dessus des gradins et offertes par les villes et provinces d'Italie. A l'entrée, se trouvait l'Académie d"éducation physique, constituée de deux corps de bâtiments rouges, symétriques et reliés par une loggia. Les locaux sont occupés aujourd'hui par le comité olympique italien. A proximité, un stade olympique a été construit pour les jeux de 1960 puis agrandi pour la coupe du monde de 1990.

Rooms could do with being updated - found it odd that there was on only two plug outlets nether of them by the bed. All plug outlets were hanging out the wall broken but luckily they still worked! Staff were really friendly as my girlfriend is gluten free.
