Excellent: the only objection is the the room was freezing cold when we arrived, evidently the heating was switched off and it ook hourse to warm up. I understand eco friendly but this is going too far.

We had a fabulous time! All the rooms have an ensuite bathroom which was great for us. The whole property is lovely and full of character. You need a car. The private beach is just perfect. But for day trips it’s worth travelling further afield to Rye, Port Lympne reserve and Camber Sands for the sandy beach. Ashford outlet is also a good stop off for browsing and lunch en route.
