Rooms newly refurbished to a smart standard. Dining option felt overpriced for what we got and for what this hotel is really for (night before/ after ferry). Bathrooms could do with extra heating and a heated mirror.

A modern room with a great location and, in this room anyway, a really nice view of the cathedral. Staff is also very good and I enjoyed the breakfast.

Great accommodation for a fun family gathering. It’s a beautiful home with an extensive kitchen and large fire place. It was so good all having our own bathrooms and a big dining area. Highly recommend this experience.

You need a car. The private beach is just perfect. But for day trips it’s worth travelling further afield to Rye, Port Lympne reserve and Camber Sands for the sandy beach. Ashford outlet is also a good stop off for browsing and lunch en route.
